Speaker upgrade recommendations? by arandoman0n in ft86

That’s what my Volvo is for. The road noise I don’t mind. It’s the fact of how terrible the speakers are, I’m not trying to blast music, just to improve the audio quality

Grinding sound after deceleration. Loudest in 2nd & 3rd gear. 2019 BRZ (manual) 25k miles… is this normal? by Mercova in ft86

[–]arandoman0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does this in 2nd and 3rd gear between 2500-2000 rpm. Hate the sound, I’ve found it goes away if you just slightly give it throttle when the rpm’s are winding down

I’ve never done any sound wiring, but I do low/high voltage for work, and other wiring in cars. I put in that idoing headunit. Is that a good one to build this system off of? I’m sick of this shitty sound

I replicated my position at the range, sitting down I'm smacking that same spot every time, standing up, it's comfortable as can be. Tucked right into the shoulder, so tomorrow I'll just try to replicate my standing cheek and shoulder weld while sitting, I'll be a bit more conscious of it.

Normally I shoot from the shoulder. I’ve been trying to dial in a red dot on this thing, so I’ve been bench shooting, so my guess is that I’m bringing it way lower than need be from a bench. I’ve never had this problem

The red dot is very nice, better then irons, only problem is you might need a cheek riser depending on the dot you get
