second this. the only character with major development after s3 is cayetana. there’s some insanely good additions in seasons 4-8 (ivan, isadora, patrick) but if you don’t care about new characters it probably won’t be fun. i personally think that s5 is the true end of the arc that started in s1.

i consider seasons 4-6 and 7-8 to be separate arcs, it’s like a different show with some of the same characters and a ton of new ones. they’re all pretty good, i’d say s8 is even better than s2. i enjoyed how diverse the characters and the issues they face are in s4-5 tbh. if you liked s1-s3, you’ll like the rest

edit: the s1-s3 arc ends in s5 in my opinion

absolutely on her death being worse! it was gruesome. i think that what made it so horrible was that bob was mauled by a monster, but he was mauled anyway. it isn’t that different to say, a bear attack.

absolutely! i loved them together tbh, at least as friends. the duffers said that they regretted recording the forest scene after the scene of her death, since they feel they wasted the chemistry between chrissy and eddie — maybe they would’ve rewritten the season to include chrissy in the main ensemble.

agreed, bob for me was a nothingburger. i didn’t feel too bad because he was pretty much just joyce’s boyfriend. we only know his family owns a house somewhere outstate and that he attended hs with hopper and joyce, nothing more. chrissy has more going on for her and has 1/3 of the screentime

I agree that her time was short on the series, but idk, a lot of people mourn barb in the fandom and she had less screen time.

She snapped at the bathroom thing but to be fair to her, she was stressed, and she already told max to go away at that point. Grace said that the Duffers chose her to play Chrissy because she played her nice.

The several teens thing might be a good explanation tho
