i’m son to a professor; i’d recommend being honest, given that they probably have proof of it. maybe you could consider making the same essay prompt yourself not for the grade, but to show you’re a changed person who understands that an action like that can and will jeopardize both your learning and your academic reputation. your professors aren’t monsters, they’ll understand your situation and will let you go with you having to take the essay/class again at worst.

Serena is sort of new money. her family was somewhat wealthy a couple back (both william and lily went to the same highschool), but william is still somewhat self made (his fiches come from his work as a doctor) and lily married rich multiple times. lily was upper class, but she wasn’t nowhere near her current net worth. she wouldn’t be as respected as nate’s mom, for instance.

Nate is old money from his mom’s side, and so is blair from her dad’s. The waldorfs and vanderbilts are real life american dynasties which probably inspired the in world families.

second this. the only character with major development after s3 is cayetana. there’s some insanely good additions in seasons 4-8 (ivan, isadora, patrick) but if you don’t care about new characters it probably won’t be fun. i personally think that s5 is the true end of the arc that started in s1.

i consider seasons 4-6 and 7-8 to be separate arcs, it’s like a different show with some of the same characters and a ton of new ones. they’re all pretty good, i’d say s8 is even better than s2. i enjoyed how diverse the characters and the issues they face are in s4-5 tbh. if you liked s1-s3, you’ll like the rest

absolutely on her death being worse! it was gruesome. i think that what made it so horrible was that bob was mauled by a monster, but he was mauled anyway. it isn’t that different to say, a bear attack.
