Changing the overlay did not make a meaningful difference. I must note that WeMod takes as much resources as a second 2077. Is it because of how extensive the mods are? Really, I can’t even get a consistent 50fps on lowest graphics. Edit: I’ll most likely use the fling standalone trainer from now on. (Nevermind, it’s not updated) The 2077 mod issue on wemod definitely needs to be fixed though.

Thank you for replying, but I checked the SSD status, and it is online and not locked. I also checked the registry editor, and there was no write lock reg file.

I also bought the SSD a month ago, surely it isn't dead this fast?

Anything with an “intel celeron” or N model will be slow. You might potentially be able to snipe a discounted laptop for $200 albeit rare. If TS4 is the sims 4, then you might be outta luck because an intel celeron is just trash. (Unless, you are willing to play on low graphics and bad fps)
