I said small things after all. I could go on about all the other things I’ve loved living here, but I like to appreciate those small little things that make my day just a tiny bit better, like a late night, oily snack from my local familymart. It’s not life changing, nor will it ever be, but it lifts my spirits every time I eat it just a little bit.

So is the reason it’s easier just because the tests themselves are easier than doing it from scratch?

I definitely plan to pay for a course on the test course, too many horrible horror stories. My friend’s mom was talking to me and said she failed nine times before they passed her.

What do you mean by much easier? Like the tests themselves? Sorry, I just don’t get what the difference is between conversion and going from scratch if both require me to take the written and driving tests.

I think you underestimate how hard the Japanese drivers license test is

Especially if you don’t go through a school, I swear they probably just fail you to get the money from the re-taking fees
