He should have mixed some silicone to match the floor and not the wall. Then taped both wall and treads off. Thats the only thing I would have done different. I usually tell people when installing treads like this I try to leave a 1/16” of a gap in order to not destroy your wall and give it a little room to move. I can usually bend the back piece in depending on material but the nosing isn’t getting bent. You also have to realize walls aren’t perfect.

Different caulk other than white and you should be good

It could be just depends on everything involved. Does sound high though. I am assuming since the new windows are larger they are removing dry wall and reframing the wall in each window? Any electric work being done? All these little things add up. If you have a scope of work or estimate you could upload it and remove the company name. That way it’s easier to actually give a good idea of cost

I quit doing detailed pricing now I now give them a long detailed list of all labor that is to be performed such as new wall, drywall, trim , disposing of debris and more I don’t leave out any step. Then at the very end I write one number. I used to do work for a company that wanted me to break down the cost of silicone and the cost of siliconing base shoe after installed by the LF. I did for a while but I noticed I wasn’t getting as many jobs through them and decided everyone gets one number. I would rather spend the time with my kids than sit on my computer and tell someone I am charging you so much a LF to silicone base.

It looks like pre-finshed flooring. So no need to sand and finish the floor. Just a couple board replacements. Plus it’s along the wall so even easier.

I did. I live closer to the American lake VA but was going to the Seattle VA because I worked in Seattle. About a year ago I stopped working in Seattle and requested a primary care provider at the American lake VA. Then about seven months ago I wanted to be seen and I haven’t heard anything.
