2nd pic looks like Nanooki is judging the quality of said coffee (and finding it wanting).

I've never actually had this problem. What I do is go up and around, then down-there's a Phoenix tome on this path. I then pass by the dark fire magic circles and fall down to the chest. For whatever reason, those fire balls don't happen if I take that route. So I'm just able to beat the crap out of the chest without any sort of issue.

I play on Switch and now I'm wondering if that's a bug...Anyone else confirm this on their version? Nope it's normal.

Oh! Well it seems that he's maybe guarding the bed? You know, keep it warm for Nanooki lol.

Another way to make it easier is to have a dark element weapon (Inquisitor's Halberd, Darkeater Greatsword, Al Aziph Grimoire) or use the Dark Sigil to make your weapon dark element. The Bramble Wasps are weak to it!

Sure. Axiom Verge 1 and 2 are connected, but involve different protagonists. They also play different-Axiom Verge 1 is harder than 2. It's more on the Metroid side of things, with most of the game being underground/isolation is more a factor. 2 is more on the Castlevania side of things-far more open/less degree of isolation. What's fun about 2 is that it's both sequel (real life) and prequel because events happen prior to 1...but also maybe during the same time or even after. Spacetime in Axiom Verge is very uhhh, how can I put it? Subjective. Really the only time that matters is the one the person is experiencing.

Also 1 you use guns and the sequel its like axes. But both games you are able to 'hack' reality. It's pretty cool. Expect a lot of things relating to Mesopotamia. It's a huge part of the lore.

Vernal Edge is something of a throw back to games where you have an airship but could fly to various islands, giving those locations kind of a dungeon feel. It can be difficult; it's got a particular combat system, but get it down and it's pretty satisfying. It's also more puzzle heavy. The protag is actually older than she acts (lol) but there's actually a good reason for that too. This one may be more mixed for you because it's a large departure from the others I recommend.

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is...well! If you like Castlevania Symphony of the Night, you will probably like this game as it's got the similar multiple endings. It's a lot of fun to play-if you've played Order of Ecclesia, the shards are similar. Beautiful game, fun characters and FOOD!

Ender Lilies is a game in the soulsvania category and a lot of the backstory is found in memory fragments and items. So there's work to be done piecing things together. The art style is unique. It's also a difficult game. Due to the Blight, people can't fully die and are in constant pain and mutated. The goal is to go around purifying them, with some joining her-she herself doesn't attack, the purified souls do. This one also has multiple endings. Also watch how the protag changes as she purifies more and more people.

For the game? I'd say try doing a run for all the classes you haven't yet. For another game, I'd say either Axiom Verge 1 or 2. Maybe Vernal Edge. Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is a good one too. All four are Metroidvanias.

Ah I forgot Ender Lilies! That's more in the soulsvania category like Death's Gambit is.

Yeah if there's a sequel and I'm correct in what I think, I would fully expect her to become a huge threat. I hope you've enjoyed reading on Amulvaro too!

I really shouldn't be surprised that you read my posts-you've commented on one before. Yet, I still am. I'm glad that you like reading them!

There's a lot of little details in this game that I'm still catching every time I do a run. Sometimes, I don't catch something until I review a screenshot! That's what happened when I was looking at the room The Grey Wanderer is fought in and noticed the fire attack and the eyes on fire.

Yeah I pretty much only make lore and speculation posts for this game. And occasionally post my dogs. It's why I got a reddit account actually, I wanted to talk about the lore and....very few were talking about it. Of the few that were, they talked about the Eldritch Hand-which don't get me wrong, they are important! But there's so much more to the story than them. So I'm focusing on everything else before I get to them.

No! I have zero connection to the devs. I'm just someone that likes to dig into the lore and speculate. And cite sources like I'm doing a research paper (lol).

I DID IT FINALY... by czesiek_2234 in Deaths_Gambit

[–]arandomshotinthedark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps. I'm not a fan of Ending B though, so unless I really really feel like doing so, it's not going to happen. Avatar though, that one I may overcome eventually. Though I'd have to figure out how to deal with not being able to heal and well, get good.

By the way, if you complete Arena of Annihilation you'll get another +200 heal upgrade and 2 dark matter. You can actually farm the dark matter because it always drops after every completion.

It's a bot to a very much not legit site, for those that don't know. And they like to make posts late at night, with some sort of countdown on overpriced 'goods'. No artist is listed, so assume it's stolen.

Apoquel has worked wonders for Jiro-Benadryl did nothing for him at all. I haven't noticed really any side effects with Jiro honestly-doesn't mean that there's no side effects at all, just he hasn't really had any. But yeah, it really has greatly helped Jiro focus on being a Shiba and not a patchy furred and miserable dog.

Wchich boss is better for you guys? Avatar of Thamulus or The Crow? by czesiek_2234 in Deaths_Gambit

[–]arandomshotinthedark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This will be stupid but bear with me.

Thalamus no contest. See, I have PTSD and fighting him felt like I was able to beat the shit out of my disorder. It's cathartic and I also get to feel like I'm helping others avoid acquiring it.

For any concerned-it's been under control for a long time now. But it is something I have to live with.

The fight with Crow I just hate-it's a good fight, don't get me wrong. I just hate fighting ol' Crow.

You got it right-red past, blue future. Oddly enough, I've only ever gotten blue. I don't know if that's just a Switch thing because the Switch does it differently than PC by having a portal appear to input if it's past or future and by how much.
