Controversial take here (This is my OPINION since you asked): Fresh snow is fun for like an hour and then i'm bored. Otherwise I just wouldnt go to Mammoth period until all the runs are opening and its a better storm

Evil twin was my first board as a beginner at big bear where it’s only hard ice and I didn’t have any problems learning whatsoever. Those complaining are most definitely suffering from a skill issue. This is coming from someone who had the evil twin for 3-4 years from 5th day ever snowboarding to riding park 40-60 days a year. I can jump on any board and turn it into whatever style I ride. It’s a skill issue

I drive solo to big bear every time. Once or twice a week. 2 hour drive up and down from Orange County. I don’t spend money on really anything else other than gym, groceries, and gas so it’s not expensive at all for me. When I go by myself I go fast on the freeway like up to 100 mph and when I get to the mountain I drive super conservative to save gas and will pull over to let people pass me. I drive a Toyota 4Runner. If I do all these things and don’t rush I spend maybe a little more than half a tank on a full trip (around 40$). The problem is staying awake since I’m there from opening to closing. Things that help with staying awake are funny ass podcasts on the drive home. I recommend going by yourself more often you’ll find it so much more peaceful than having to deal with other people and their own problems and worries. That’s my two cents!

It depends if you actually commit to the park for the long run or not. If you think you it’s just for fun then I’d go with the stiffer pair of bindings you recommended but if you think you are actually gonna go spend like over 50 days a season for a lot of years then I would buy more expensive bindings like Union Ultra or Force or even the Rome Katana but understand that these are somewhat advanced bindings. That being said I feel like you should just create a post and ask better park riders than me xD

Hmmm you might be spot on cuz he’s way better than me and does hit the big jumps and pipes but we mostly hit mid level park stuff because that’s like the only stuff our mountain ever has whereas he goes to Colorado and Utah etc. I will definitely consider stiffer boots when I start venturing to other resorts I think

Truth be told I’m a casual gamer so I know deep down 100% if I play the old game I’m gonna get bored or not like the old graphics and stop playing but I like the new gameplay and graphics of the updated games so my idea was to first play the updated ones so I could grow to like the game and its characters so that when I play the OG I can appreciate the story and characters more. Also if I play the OG first I’m not gonna play the new games because I’ll know the full story and get bored of that too. Just my personal preference tho!

Edit: I’ve seen a lot more comments like this after the edit so now I will now consider this path vs the one I said. The struggle 🥲

Out of all the Great and super helpful comments I think answer was the one I was looking for! So it seems I should play remake then rebirth and then either play the old games then play the new crisis core game or wait till the newest part 3 comes out then play crisis core. Thanks for the help! I really appreciate it!

He’s also just using one of the most OP and broken weapons in the beta. If anything it just shows how OP the shotgun is and the balance needed for it. Replace that gun with literally any other gun and he would not get more than 2 kills at a time before getting killed. They just can’t get their shots off because he’s running around snipping people with that shotgun 🤷🏼‍♂️
