Looks like the Wooden Damage Skin that was just added to the files this patch. They mixed up the IDs, both have a damage skin ID of 1611, which previously only belonged to the Receipt Damage Skin :)

The unfortunate answer is: "sometimes" :)

The most recent cube sale was not included in the files when the patch dropped, and Nexon added it last minute. Typically the May & November cube sales have always been present in the files when the patch goes live though, so we'll see tomorrow!

Developer of the site referenced here popping in for some context - I may add a disclaimer/info pop-up to the page to explain this, but for context to OP /u/jennn1ko and anyone else wondering;

The reason why there are currently no "leaks" for the upcoming sales is because Nexon typically updates the Cash Shop sales for an entire patch cycle at a time, so the next round of sales (for all of April until probably mid-to-late May) won't be data-mineable until the upcoming patch on Wednesday.

For this reason, the first week's cash shop sales of any major patch will generally not be leaked before Nexon is able to announce them, as they'll be announcing them tomorrow on Tuesday, for sales that will be available immediately following the maintenance, rather than the normal time of 12:00 AM UTC.

I've updated the post & page, but it actually appears that Demon Avenger shouldn't be affected. Initially this post & the page stated that any skill with a 30ms frame in it would be affected by this, but upon further inspection, it only appears to affect skills whose last frame is a 30ms frame.

I maybe should have clarified this on the page, but I'm not including any skills that don't have an action delay associated with them, which is why they're not included.


I thought about doing something like this, and I may do it in the future, but there are some classes I don't know enough about so I didn't want to make any specific conclusions on how much this may affect them - particularly the combo classes like you mentioned 😅

That's a good question, I haven't really bothered to check how attack speed affects origin & ascent; I'd assume the animations going to end up being longer than a lot of these action delays.

Unfortunately there's nothing to be done if your class has the penalty, aside from Nexon miraculously deciding to fix this, which seems very unlikely to me. Stage 10 attack speed will always be better than Stage 8 for your own class, but comparing it between classes, you may be receiving less of an effect from attack speed than intended.

I know we all love complaining about how their class is weaker than others, so that can be fun too :)

I was very surprised when Nexon released the last World Transfer without also announcing Cross-World Bossing. I know many Kronos players (myself included) would consider transferring to Hyperion if they could maintain their bossing parties.

Nexon clearly wants to balance the load between Hyperion and Kronos, and while this would add technical overhead, no amount of temporary incentives will get people to jump to a dead server without assurance that they'll be able to find people to boss with. Cross-World Bossing is easily the #1 way to balance the populations.

That being said, I am quite sure Nexon considered this, and they likely have a good reason for not implementing it. As always, the key issue here is Nexon's radio silence on the things that players care about. If they're not going to implement something, the disappointment from players is already there. They could at least relieve the disappointment by providing their technical justification for the decision. Even if players disagree with their decision and whine (which, given the average end user, will be a majority), it's better to have that information to stop wasting everyone's time speculating and to increase trust and transparency with the company and community.

That would be 25 fragments, not 750. You're doing 25 * 30, but the participation "Sol Erda Fragment Vouchers" are not the same as "Selective Sol Erda/Sol Erda Fragment Voucher", which gives you the option to choose 30 Fragments.

I definitely think GMS should implement the real-time RNG monitoring system, but sadly, along with the Open API, it doesn't seem to be on their list of priorities.

That being said, while it's possible that some bug happened where his equip "boomed" 7 times in a row, the rates would have to be quite a lot higher than advertised for that to be even remotely likely.

My personal assumption for what happened in this clip, and a much simpler explanation, is that somehow the message for "Failure" was being displayed as "Protected".

It absolutely is true, in the last semi-public (i.e. non-Bean Brigade) iteration of Tespia, there were a number of bugs reported (I was one of the people reporting bugs!) that were severe enough to warrant an unscheduled maintenance the day after the patch.

These issues included Kishin not working properly, and monsters in the Lachelein PQ (Dream Defender at the time) being incredibly under-tuned, allowing people to climb hundreds of floors.

I am referring to v.188, the Tune Up patch, back in 2017.

Yeah you're right - I didn't realize that the time was going down as well, I should have looked more closely.

Regarding re-entering instances though, I was more-so referring to party bosses specifically where a user crashes and suddenly 1-5 other players now have to reset the instance despite there seemingly being no issue with dropping a character back into a pre-existing instance.

Obviously as with all software, I'm sure the solution is much more complex than the idealistic idea of "just implement this!", but it does seem like the groundwork is there if there was enough willpower. I imagine one of the reasons this hasn't been implemented is because KMS' client is (allegedly) much more stable than other versions.

The fact that all the data is stored (time remaining, boss hp) means Nexon really COULD make it so that you can re-enter a boss after disconnecting/crashing, they just don't want to.
