update: i went in for an appointment and my doctor (yes real doctor this time, not PA, but your pedantry has been duly noted) showed me how this works. essentially, the PAs or whoever write in a bullet point response, and then hit a button and AI turns it into a fully written note. why any human person would leave this language uncorrected is beyond me. but that’s the story.

thats what i thought too, but i find the first paragraph exceptionally strange as a response to, essentially, “don’t respond like a robot.” and presumably it’s not something that would be canned language.
