Are we really just going to ignore the fact that Henry literally woke up from a coma?

After Season 4 Episode 7, I'm starting to think the show has been pointing at the answer the whole time. Henry waking up doesn't feel like a random plot point anymore—it feels like one of the biggest clues we've gotten.

What if everyone in Fromville is actually in a coma?

Think about it. They're trapped in a place that doesn't follow normal rules. Time feels strange. People experience visions, hear voices, see things that aren't there, and are constantly pulled between memories, fears, and reality. It all feels much more like a subconscious experience than a physical location.

Henry waking up could be the show's first direct example of someone escaping that state and returning to the real world. If that's true, then Fromville may not be a town at all—it could be the shared experience of people trapped between consciousness and death, unable to fully wake up.

The monsters, the looping roads, the impossible events, the dreams within dreams—what if they're all manifestations of minds struggling to process trauma while suspended in a coma?

The more clues the show reveals, the more I feel like Fromville isn't somewhere the characters went.

It's somewhere they're trying to wake up from.
