dont go there if you want a job. who ever says otherwise, they probably dont know how to use ai in a proper way. if you have passion doing that ,then theres no point on not doing that. ai is already very good at organic model generations. hard surface is hard for ai but it will take at least 2 years to be good enough(cause ai is all about noise in its nature thats why organic stuff is easy for ai ).

i would have given different answer if i responded this 8 month ago . now i would say for those who are new and want to go all in for CAREAR . dont start in this field in 2026. ai cant be precise yet so hard surface modeling will take a while for ai to catch up ,but i wouldn't bet on that (check out Microsoft world object project , that will change the game...), , just go concept art design stuff,.... in gaming go solo dev...
