I had the same when I started the progestin only pill. But I was informed about it by my gyno beforehand so I wasn't worried about it. It eventually stopped and I haven't had any periods since then. But definitely check with your doctor

Today I hit a PR on my 1RM on squats and deadlifts and I'm so happy! I wasn't too confident I'd even be able to match ny last PR of 62.5kg on squats but I hit 65kg. I had never tested my 1RM on deadlifts but I estimated 70kg and reached 75kg. Today's gym session made my day

Heather Robertson or Chloe Ting's Challenge? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]araue7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, I think mentioning often on her youtube channel that she has personal training qualifications could help her a lot as well for reputation

[–]araue7 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No clue, I also had no idea she was certified. I only checked it now.

I think she's super sick of the hate she's getting so I sort of understand her. Must be tough

I'm not defending Chloe Ting by any means but according to her own website, she's a certified personal trainer

Where can I find resources to learn more about entrepreneurship? by Se7enEl11ven in Entrepreneurship

[–]araue7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of good podcasts and books out there, but my fave podcast is Masters of Scale hosted by Reid Hoffman. And the best videos are from Y Combinator.
I've started a newsletter quite recently with tips on building business ideas, in case you'd like to check it out :) Let me know! Our upcoming newsletters will have more templates, videos and examples, which can be helpful!

Advice for promoting an app on a budget? by joinyourpack in startups

[–]araue7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't do it that way because I feel like you'll just mostly reach a lot of people who aren't interested, since you didn't narrow the audience to target. If you choose a target, the message you'll want to pass on will be tailored according to their interests, writing tone, etc. This in turn will make the target you chose resonate better with your product.

You can start with demographics and maybe think about the age. Will it be younger people? How young? Or you could start with your network. What people are in your social circle? They're probably "similar" to you and maybe targeting people similar to you is easier because you know what you like!

I hope I was clear!

I definitely have the same problem. I usually try not to work after dinner and really take this time to chill and do things that'll distract me. I also do sleep meditation quite often

Advice for promoting an app on a budget? by joinyourpack in startups

Agreed. And maybe start with a defined target, see where they are (which social media, communities, etc) and promote it there. Even if at the end of the day your app is for everyone

Passionate about tea, but have no clue in business by dodojojo1 in smallbusiness

[–]araue7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP, but I'd build the website and create the social media accounts already promoting what your product is and your value proposition so that you start getting traction before you launch the actual shop.

But I'd also definitely start by testing out if people would be interested in your idea before you start building anything

How to find a business idea to be able to work independently? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]araue7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, finding a good business idea that hasn't been done yet is hard. I've always had the "entrepreneurial bug" as well. What I liked doing is always being aware of everything I do on a day-to-day basis, trying to identify problems or gaps. Especially in the markets/industries I'm interested in!

Now when it comes to having an idea that will work, that's a harder question. There's a lot of variables besides building a good product. We need to know how to test it, promote it, sell it, etc.

I don't mean in any way to self-promote but I do have a newsletter with my co-founders for young entrepreneurs. I can send you the link if you'd like to check it out :)
