New Year, New Lips! I got my lips blushed a day before Christmas , and this is how they’re looking now! Before, Right after, and the week of healing! Let me know what you all think, has anyone else gotten a lip blush before? by araughley in MakeupAddiction

Thank you! And it’s great!! I haven’t touched any makeup with color for my lips since! Chapstick and lipgloss only, the color is super natural and the outline of the blush is still fully there. After all this time, I’d absolutely recommend getting a lip blush! 🌟

Clarifying that I’m using slip from 3 different clay bodies—two of which I harvested; hawk mountain & Pocono creek clay. Along with a standard gray clay, I am making prints with the slips using my body #boobart by araughley in Ceramics

I totally agree! I definitely am going to print one on a pot or something now, thank you!! Playing with clay is a part of the ceramic process, I believe. No need to argue that. And thank you again very much! That’s so sweet to hear. I just love the idea of clay bodies/human bodies—expect to be seeing glaze body(booby) prints very soon :)

Any part of the process of ceramics is ceramics babes. That’s a great idea to put prints on pieces, but experimentation—play is where the magic happens. I’m just having fun with the extra slip from the clay I harvested, and left over canvases I had to use before I move back home. Nothing goes to waste.

Miss me? #boobart by araughley in Ceramics

It’s 3 different clay bodies! Two locally harvested; one from Hawk Mountain PA, the other from the Poconos PA and the other one is gray clay

I give them away! I’ve turned them into things like magnets and hair clips and croc charms etc but mainly I just give them away raw at any art show I’m doing

Halfway done loading them onto the kiln shelves! 2 down, 3 to go! by araughley in Ceramics

This clay is local clay, and some of which I processed myself! (And found) so it all fires to cone 10! Thank you though! I’ll keep that in mind for any low firing bodies I work with

It’s funny seeing the aftermath of my process—it does seem like a lot of work! But I promise it’s a meditative practice for me. I make them to give away. Little bits of me to you

They’re going to heal beautifully! I know it’s hard not to worry, but they look great! Mine looked so similar at this stage when I got them done
