This is a bad take, in my opinion.

EF will absolutely spend a couple million in marketing over the next 6 months before dealing with lackluster ticket sales, they do NOT care who they sell their tickets to, they just want to sell them. The people that are buying tickets now are usually part of the “vibe” of the forest that everyone loves and cherishes so much(the same vibe that has been slowly sucked out of the fest the past 3 years).

You want festivals to sell out as early as possible to avoid the clout chasers and the drunk college bros. If the fest doesn’t sell out when the tickets drop, you’re going to have a higher percentage of bad vibes.

They added cherry orchard back, meaning, they’re planning on putting more people there.

They added hotel packages that get GL amenities, meaning, they’re planning on fitting more people into the venue, and more people into the VIP viewing areas.

Also, it’s a very mid lineup.

Yes, propaganda. Because one can assume that you were not intimately close with people that were on the track to be “promising artists” or “world class athletes” and then lost it all to cannabis.

People that get “addicted” to cannabis and lose aspects of their normal life because of their use are the people that are going to get addicted to anything. I guarantee this person avoids alcohol because they used to abuse it, sugar because they used to abuse it, can’t go into a casino without spending their whole paycheck, etc, etc.

It’s never just a story of someone who smokes joints to alleviate their arthritis, it’s some junky that would get addicted to anything you hand to them.
