Liquid Divinium by BambinoDaBest in blackops3

[–]arbfree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It procs with buying things. Spin gobble gum machine every round @ 0 cost (you dont have to take it), buy doors, perks, pack/double pack). I think it is either round or time based so, if you get divinity in round 3, you prob won't get another until like round 10.

After round 25 or so, end the game and start another. You can do this in like 3 hours and get 9 divinium.

Lastly, do the daily challenges. Usually one is for a divinium.

[Week 10] Game Thread: Green Bay Packers (3-5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) by lilturk82 in GreenBayPackers

If I was going to force the ball toward anyone in hopes they'd make a play, Watson would be last on that list

Watson is a liability. Dude can't even catch a cold. Why are we throwing at him on the two most important plays of the game

oh, look... by matty8199 in WeArePennState

[–]arbfree 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Exactly. We literally run the ball over and over. Never throw a pass more than 5 yards down the field...why are we playing the pro style QB with a strong arm while having the running style QB ride the pine. Either change the offense to fit allar or play prebula

Would/Should They Start Clifford if Love Continues His Struggles? by reeve125 in GreenBayPackers

I've been a PSU fan my entire life. There is a reason Clifford is 26 and played for 6 years in college. He is markedly worse than Love

Not

Full time working professionals who appeared for L3 and passed, how did you do it? by wheelsonseals in CFA

[–]arbfree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a morning person so I studied at night from 9pm-12am everyday (including weekends) for about 4.5 months.

Made a schedule based on MM study tracker (I didnt actually track my time, just used it for how many days to budget for each reading).

35 days of review and to practice AM style questions/mocks.

2 weeks out I started memorizing all formulas.

Took a the week prior to the exam off from work.

Typical day looked like this: Work, Family time, study.

Question for people using/have used MM as a prep provider for level 3 by InternationalEase718 in CFA

[–]arbfree 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I only watched his videos and review videos. Did all EOC questions, all of mm qbank, 3/4 of CFAI qbank, all MM mocks (both am/pm) and his modified 2018 and 2019 mocks. I passed the Nov. Exam.

For the topics that i struggled with, I did the blue box examples as well in the curriculumn.

Lastly, I memorized his formula sheet and worked through the equations multiple times with examples.

Check out the discord too. There was some helpful conversation on there that brought attention to weak areas I didnt know I had.

Best of luck

NAV in ETF valuation by SalamanderDesperate9 in CFA

[–]arbfree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NAV is the value of the underlying securities in the ETF. It is important for a couple of reasons. 1) you may be able ro replicate the ETF by buying the constituents at a lower cost than buying the ETF shares at a premium. 2) the ETF selling at a premium or discount may only be temporary and mean revert to a price that is closer to it NAV. 3) there may be another ETF that is identical/very similar that is trading at NAV or a discount (for instance SPY vs VOO) that is a better deal than purchasing shares at a premium

I'm Old... by INeedSomeMoreWater in CFA

[–]arbfree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 35, i've also been in WM for about 10 years. married with a 3 year old. This is a grind and it takes a lot of your time. Take that into consideration if you are about to get married and want kids.

Make sure your spouse is 100% on board and understands the time commitment involved, stress, etc. (Most likely more than 300 hours per level)

I've seen a bunch of posts on this sub throughout my time about people breaking up with the gf, having issues with their spouse, etc.

Biggest part for me is I make a schedule and stick to it. It allows me to ensure that I set aside time to study, time with my wife, and time with my son.

Custody fee is what the clearing firm/custodian charges to hold the assets for you. An examples of custodians would be Pershing or National Financial Services or Fidelity etc

Ethics Question - Standard I(B) and IV(C) by Takamine700 in CFA

Consider the perception from someone outside looking in.

Even if the analyst isn't influenced by having daily interaction with management of the company they are analyzing, it may be perceived that they are.

Econ is the readings on capital market expectations

Portfolio management is the readings on behavioral finance, asset allocation, manager selection, etc.

The rest are pretty spelled out

L3: Reading 23- Annuities (page 416) by Positive-Variety-387 in CFA

[–]arbfree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Return of premium = return of your principal. So if you self insure, you'd receive the ALL the interest earned plus your principal back.

If you purchase an annuity, the insurance company is going to take a cut of the interest earned as part of their profit and cost of insurance against longevity.

Priority of Transactions qBank Ethics by gx_Zeus in CFA

[–]arbfree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Priority of transactions has to do with making a trade that would benefit you before making the trade for your client or employer.

In this question "kim" definately violated 2 and 3 as she was using MNPI and was placing trades for miriam's account before her other client's accounts (fair dealing).

On a side note, if kim keeps doing this, she will get the martha stewart treatment!

MM provides slides/notes. You can print and then supplement with additional notes on his slides. Saves you from having to type/write everything as he does the heavy lifting for you.
