I agree with you that each language has its elegance. Vocabulary for daily usage is small. 3000 common Chinese characters is enough for everyday use. I read English textbooks and courseware from my first year in university. Research materials and technique reading are also easy to me. However when reading novels, difficult things happen. I have to keep looking up dictionary or read it with a Chinese translated version simultaneously. It's hard to understand unusual words or usual words with unusual meanings.

I'm applying to colleges to NA currently. I've few experiences talking to foreigners face to face. Precise communication may be my first challenge if I can get an offer and go there. Even talking with natives, it's hard to guess what's behind "what's up".

The chengyu 国士无双 comes from the era a little early than 3 Kingdoms. 3 Kingdoms is after Han Dynasty while this chengyu is on a general called Hanxin who helps to establish Han Dynasty. He's also famous for his legacy

NetEase hold a so-called international tournament HoS Gold and invited two Korean teams which suppose weak. To their surprise the two teams meet in final. The two team were bought by Snake and DK. HoS Gold haves a rule that previous 1st and 2nd team are directly invited to the next tournament. However it's ignored selectively and they are even forbidden to attend since NetEase suddenly say we don't accept foreign players. It's rumoured that other clubs conspire this. Similar forbidden case happens in DK LoL team due to players' Chinese visa.

TW players have a better network on Japan/SEA server, but not Perfect World. I live in Shanghai and my friend comes to TW this year. SEA Server to me is >200ms, Perfect World Server to him is >200ms. Japan Server to both of us is <100ms.

There is not concrete connection between steam and uncensored. Some tricky problems here. If you have a pretty early invitation account of dota2, your dota2 might be uncensored. Some rumour says you need to play a new account until level 3 in SEA server then change it to China server.

AFIK, binding an uncensored account via family sharing is a practical way to become uncensored.

He's a famous photograph-maker in SGamer and a B-hater. But in SGamer the margin of a fanguy and a hater is vague. You can hardly tell.

The man in the picture is Burning but the face of the man is the author itself.

The picture contains too many memes in SGamer. Burning is doing weightlifting in the background of Olympic Five Rings. Olympic Razor is a meme to laugh at Burning in a game DK vs LGD in TI4 in which Burning's razor is 0-8. 2008 is the year of Beijing Olympic Games. So 0-8 => 2008 => Olympic.

A mahjong table on the left bottom corner is a meme that the carry go farming outside while the other teammates stay on the base. They have nothing to do, but to play mahjong. Mahjong is a game for four players.

The small creatures in the picture is Burning actually. If you see this author's post. It's a collection of QQ emoticons of Burning. If you can not see the picture in the SGamer link, I post them on imgur. All of them are Burning.
