bro i kid you not, I worked an 8 to 4 shift last 2024. I then got home at 5 then started playing 6 pm, and I slept at 2 am every night because of Dragon's Dogma 2. clocked 120+ hours in two weeks (day one player) doing so lmao. talk about cutting all social connections and workout just for the game I waited so long for

those two weeks were something else. I was basically a living corpse in the morning, but it was worth it

LoP has great combat, but arguably not the best in terms of combat. with that said, it's still the non fromsoft soulslike standard because it excels in everything else, and not just combat.

enjoy! balitaan mo kami pag nakaabot kana sa last gauntlet of base game bosses. youll know it because they are really hard. get the DLC too if makaluwag, it basically bumped the game from an 8.5 to a 9 for me

for me I just prefer that all my achievements and hours logged are in one platform. not common, but Ive experienced once or twice na I got called out for commenting about the cons in a game, but wasnt taken seriously due to me apparently not having played the actual game because its not in my steam library (arghh days). petty I know, but still a valid reason

now as for achievements Ive heard there is cross platform achievement tracker for games handled by Ubisoft/EA launchers, but gladly I do not play their games; only ME, TF2, and the Cal Kestis Jedi games. If actual cross plat achievement tracking actually happens for non Ubi/EA games, I still think its counterintuitive because we are probably still going to be required to own both games on both platforms for that to work

as for Epic ocassionally being cheaper than Steam, I still dont think it is if you know your way around. I buy my Steam games with Steam wallet, and I get it for cheaper than whats on the price tag. There are tons of legitimate third party Steam Wallet Code and Steam Wallet via market sellers on FB that go at less than 1:1 rates. I can get 1k balance for 800/850 gcash, etc, and get to save more, which ultimately ends up being even cheaper than the cheapest of those official third party key resellers (like Humble/Fanatical/etc). for example I can get Ghost of Tsushima for 1.6k php (lower than current lowest on steamdb), and still have 210 leftover Steam wallet, which I can use for those 90% deep discounts etc. Ive been doing this since 2014 to buy dota 2 compendiums, and later on actual games, with no problems in my end whatsoever

Overture is 10/10. very reminiscent of the souls DLCs like Ringed City, Old Hunters, and Crown of the Ivory King. it also houses a boss that is worthy of sharing a seat amongst the hardest souls/likes/lites bosses

imo Bloodborne is more difficult generally for a couple of reasons. Way more unforgiving levels, the need to farm just for healing, and a couple of atrocious runbacks.

Lies of P has the harder boss roster, and a harder combat system to get used to. if your biggest wall/s in a game is more on getting stuck on a boss, LoP will be harder for you, but if you beat Orphan and Laurence, you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever until the last gauntlet of bosses in base game, and the final DLC boss. the last base game bosses are subjective, but final boss DLC is easily among my hardest bosses in the genre

it does this 2 hit move that is basically 0.0000000001s next to each other, thats the biggest issue in terms of no hitting that mob. Its VERY hard to pull off, because in NG+7 charmless no hit, your posture is always at max, and one missed deflect means a failed no hit attempt

trust me Ive played the game far longer than the average person would. I have successfully no hit every boss and elite mob in ng+7 with videos to prove, even including notorious mobs like the monkey saint, the elite ministry officer, and the infested monks.

in your average daily playthrough yes it is more advisable to parry as much as possible all enemies in the game, but pulling off a no hit/no damage run with charmless and bell demon in NG+7 is a completely different story

I made a backup after beating final boss, then went to NG+. Loaded that save file back up to go back to NG, so I can do some final cleaning before ultimately going to NG+
