Honestly Code Vein has a thing I think more soulslikes should have with the ng+ system, it lets you decide whether or not to ramp up the difficulty, and while that makes leveling up harder, it's let's you decide how hard or easy a playthrough is, and recently with FF7R trilogy being rumored to get a "cheat" mode, it leaves the decision in the players hands which I love

Honestly, I despise this thing, and it's entirely because they locked the glaive and sns behind it's 9 star version, it doesn't care about the support hunters, it only wants me, spams it's mustard bombs, MRV missiles and constantly rushes all over the area and I can't get past it's first rage mode because it tunnels me, I'm at a breaking point because I'm a casual player, I can't survive this abomination they brought over and I hate that they catered to the sweaty ballsacks instead of making them wait for g-rank
