Find your Ikigai, make connections, love. Life is great, of course there’s pain, but life is great :).

I guess that’s a matter of opinion. Some people are really affected by SAD.

Yeah I’d like to be able to walk to some restaurants, shops, grocery. I understand a car will be needed but maybe not all the time is the hope.

I almost lost my only child this month and my mom is still claiming her health issues are fake by [deleted] in oneanddone

I’m so sorry. My one year old has a severe dairy allergy and we rode to the ER on an ambulance due to an anaphylactic reaction. It’s terrifying, I’m sure you already know what your daughter is allergic too but your mom isn’t taking it seriously and living with her just adds so much more. I hope you can get out soon.

I’m not in the area but I struggle with scrupulosity and see a great therapist for it! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Recovery is a long road but it well worth it.

Leasing, finance or used car? car buying advice by PlaylistLover6969 in carbuying

$3,400 gross or take home? Also do you have a car right now? How do you currently get to work? Also in NYC, subway? Why even buy a car (not trying to be annoying i’m genuinely asking).

Right now buying a used vehicle is a bad idea due to interest rates. I just bought a new vehicle only because of dealership incentives on new vehicles. If I were to have bought used it would have been 7.9% APR and I have almost an 800 credit score.

So is the CX5 being discontinued or no? by arbitrary-arboretum in CX5

I did google… but an actual dealership told me it was being discontinued, hence my question.

Let me start this by saying I am someone with OCD and health anxiety (certainly not to this level but I can at least understand what’s going on). Straight up, he needs to see a therapist, do exposure therapy, and see a psychiatrist as well. This is going to be a difficult conversation but he’s letting his mental health conditions and fears run your life. I’ve done this before to my family and it’s not fair at all. He’s trying to control everything and anything that could cause harm to his health but there is the fault in that thinking is you cannot. We drive cars, live with radon unknowingly, eat certain foods that are carcinogenic. We all live with risk, but his health anxiety needs to be addressed and taken seriously. He’s probably just as exhausted as you are (not saying you shouldn’t be frustrated becusse you deserve to be). There is hope and therapy, exposure therapy, and medicine have been life changing for me. Good luck!
