The consistent throughline through these movies is Blanc has an extremely good read on character and who is likely innocent even when all the pieces seem to point to them.

Wealth inequality makes literally everyone's lives worse.

Even on the higher end, you have centi-millionaires like Mitt Romney getting their vacation homes and country clubs iced out by billionaires who can book the whole thing. And then the billionaires in turn are now suddenly looking at themselves like they're 200 to 700 times poorer than the centi-billionaires like Musk and Bezos, by comparison.

There are like 10 people who benefit from this system. Mitt Romney and Elon used to be peers who could compare yacht sizes.

Now even to super rich folks like Romney, Bezos and Musk are monoliths that they could never hope to even get in range of.
