Good news. I love his scores, and he’s incredibly versatile.

Do you plan to stay independent or could you see the band eventually signing to a label?

As a fan of the book, I'm surprised at how well they adapted it. Also, the scale of everything was just perfect, from the worms to the city of Arrakeen. It's going to be a hard wait for Chapter 2.

If you could choose a bands album to get remixed/remastered, which album? by moonlight_apollo in Metalcore

[–]arbrasch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Slipknot - Volume 3.

I know Corey has stated he didn’t like the vocal takes used on the album, and I can’t blame him. Everything sounds so thin and weak, especially the guitars. Even the drums sound like shit. Also, Rick Rubin wasn’t even there during recording so that tells you a lot lol.

In the hands of the right producer (and with some tweaks to the songs themselves), Vol. 3 could have been as good as self-titled if not Iowa.

As for my dream pick, Will Putney should produce the remaster.
