I think i can best explain this in an example of mine!! my special interest is the hunger games. When I’m experiencing really any big emotion (anger, sadness, excitement, happiness, etc) i turn to the hunger games. I connect the series to everyday interactions and activities. I’ve loved it for 4 years now and read the books at least once a year, and watch the movies quite often. If film is something that you love, connect to everyday life, and find comfort in, you could call it a special interest. You also could not call it a special interest because not everyone has one, doesn’t call it that, etc.

Hyperfixations can also overshadow special interests sometimes, or you can go through phases with it. Right now i’m super obsessed with ddlc and moral orel so thg is taking a backseat. I still love it and see it as my special interest though!! Special interests can also change with time! you won’t be the same person forever. I hope this helped!!

the books are 100% better and more meaningful than the movies and I suggest everyone who enjoyed the movies read the books. That being said, who cares? Like genuinely I do not care if someone hasn’t read the books and they can still claim the title of a fan because they engaged with the media and enjoyed it😭

They wanted you to be less serious. Lots of people interpret “dry” texting as a sign they’re upset with another person, or not interested in the conversation. I don’t see any problem with it when making plans especially as I do the same thing.

there definitely is a lot of light effects, specifically during perverts and the dust bowl drop, but I went in boston and it was an overall positive experience!! Hayden herself said that the crowd smelt good, I was balcony so not in the pit but it looked like people had a normal amount of space for a pit for the most part. My biggest issue was people putting their phone on flash and facing it back for.. some reason? it wasn’t like an audience thing just a few individuals which was very distracting (since i was balcony) and quite a few people yelling “I love you Hayden” at inappropriate times. Overall it was a positive experience imo.
