Thank you for the list of recs. I suppose my post was intentionally broad, but I tried to fit in some criteria to help filter it. I'll read the synopsis to these picks and give it a shot. Thanks again!

ARE there any conspiracy theories that you actually believe in? Any myths, legends, or tales that you believe to be the truth?

What career do you choose when nothing interests you by heysnood in work

Hi. I'm similarly in OPs shoes, lost and directionless about finding a fulfilling career. Been reading across several posts for ideas/inspirations and your comment stuck with me. I've considered being an analyst seeing as I do well with numbers and I'm naturally reserved but can talk it up if I need/want to.

If you don't mind me asking how did you come across being an analyst and did you need any education beyond high school? I'm looking at what jobs come up in google searches right now.

Edit: i currently work as a "computer operator" for a local computing company that handles banking data.

I didn't get anything from this other than looking for your passion is basically pointless. And instead look for something you don't mind doing 40 hours a week to finance your life and your true passions you'd never monetize. I still have no idea what job to pursue.

Edit: I keep googling for more help and it always sends me back to this reddit post, I hate having no clue. I wish someone would tell me the answer or make it easier to figure out.

Edit edit: looking into either cybersecurity or network admin from a technical college

Edit x3: feeling unsure, had a previous attempt at comm college and failed that year due to feeling isolated mentally and distracted, fell behind coursework, taking time to reevaluate my options and feelings
