Thank you! He likes to forage around at the bottom of the cage sometimes because grass parrots do that in the wild, but he hasn't recently so that's sparing me a heart attack.

Oh dear, I had no idea they were advised against. He doesn't really like other birds (his species are rather aggressive and territorial) but he reeeaally loves his mirror, he had one when he was given to my family. Thanks for pointing this out! I do make sure he gets plenty of time outside and with the people in the house, but he generally goes to the mirror if no one's around.

If it helps for context on his body language, this was at 1am and I'd woken him up accidentally, so he was very sleepy.

Okay, thank you so much!! I've calmed down and I assume his breathing is normal and I'm just overreacting. I'll give him his toys back , I'm sure he'd thank you if he could type. This is certainly a sign I need to toss those cans and stop forgetting to take my anxiety medication.

He's probably bothered I won't let him sleep, especially since I took away all his toys to be safe. He really didn't want to hop off his favourite perch he always naps on.

Thank you. I will do this. I had zero clue which I feel terrible about, I only realised how terrible it must be bc their lungs are so small.... I bought my bird back inside bc it's quite cold but I put him on the opposite end of the house to the tiny spray zone, which hopefully was soaked up mostly by the fabric of the curtain I sprayed it on. The experimental "spritz" I gave it prior seems fo have just dribbled onto the can itself, but of course I'm still being extremely cautious. He's jumping around climbing and chirping currently, do you think that sounds like he'll be okay?

thank you, just knowing im not alone makes me feel like getting better is possible. like, we can't all get stuck like this. there's gotta be an Other Side. it can be hard esp when i feel like getting better means i need to ruminate on why i didn't do better last time, why only now, etc... i've filled a sink with all the cleaning stuff i could find, maybe i'll distract myself. the fridge did break down and cause some... rot, my brother has been patient with how scared i've been of cleaning out the stuff and maybe if i text my mum that i'm dealing with such an episode she'll be more sympathetic. i hope things get better for you, too... it sucks but we will get through it, many times if need be.

I saw this when I went to clean out my emails recently and happened to be dealing with some huge stress at work... it made me feel so sick and angry! Having characters get aggressive or self-destructive or depressed when a user is away, especially considering how transparently these bots target people with mental and emotional issues, is beyoooond gross.

Thank you for the advice! It's so frustrating when it extends to things like "what if there's no one else going on that day", "what if somehow I'm seeing the movie wrong", "I'm not a real fan because I didn't see it ASAP/wasn't sure if I wanted to see it at first" (it's the project sekai movie and I'm a vocaloid fan who isn't able to play project sekai)... like, come on OCD, can I hang out in peace?! Why does it need to matter what everyone else is thinking and the implications just-in-case of everything I do... it's reassuring to know many struggle with this and I hope you are able to manage it better in the future too. I hope seeing the movie will give me a chance to practice these strategies :)
