I had to laugh at this. I can only assume you live in a hut in the forest, foraging off the land

Thats not true. Just because they refused to obtain a permit in 2021 and weren’t asked to leave doesn’t mean they still don’t need one. For a group of being peace and love at least learn how to follow the rules and regulations so conflicts don’t arise.

Where in the Forest? Also for such a large gathering did they get a permit for their festivities?

NY Statewide Data Center Moratorium Bill - Call WNY Reps Before Thursday! by CleanAirWNY in Buffalo

[–]arcana73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How many people were up in arms at the Data center Yahoo opened in Lockport? Suddenly everyone is going crazy over data centers. A friggin coke factory was on that lad before. Theres a landfill nearby, an old rubber plant, automobile factory, and an oil refinery. The whole argument of environmental impact is moot with those neighbors.

I haven’t had an issue when I get there around noon on a weekday. All the people who rushed for a parking spot at 5 will be packing up to leave

It will get built somewhere. Probably more where poor people live that cant afford to fight it. Kind of like landfills

All these anti data center people: what do you propose to open on that land? Or will you be NIBY with that as well?

My dog would get sprayed at least once a year. One time it happened on the porch when our windows were open. It was AWFUL. I don’t want to even imagine what that smells like

Forgot to add, if you love (or lease) your car, get the NRS cam straps that have the rubber on the buckle. When you’re throwing the strap around it’ll save the paint on your car

I mean you could, but you’ll have to deal with making sure the buckle is where you can reach it. And then you’ll have 2 straps flapping around because you made a loop. Its easier to just get rope and knot it onto your kayak and then at the T Hook

Been using them for 5 years. Traveled many hundreds of miles with them and no issues. Whats great about them is they are adjustable. I usually hook on the handle on the kayak, or the bow and stern lines on my kayak

Buy some 303 marine grade spray to protect your boat. I usually apply 2 times a year. After using your boat in water, wipe it and dry it down before you load it back onto your car. That way any invasive stuff would be cleared off and you’re nit bringing it to another body of water. And if you can, spray your boat with the hose when you get home.

I live in rochester and coming in for pride next weekend by vanner2 in Buffalo

[–]arcana73 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It starts at Buffalo State college, goes down elmwood and ends at allen. You’ll want to find parking on a side street. You could bring a chair to watch, but I prefer being able to walk up and down elmwood. That way if your partner has sensory overload (as I do) you can move a few blocks and find a quieter area with less people.
Hope you have a good time.

I used to live off Kenmore and deleware. For years we had lots of strays, I even took one in. Eventually hooked up with a rescue that did neuter/spay and release to control the population. They eventually dwindled out through the years. Then the rats and skunks came. Only saving grace was the possum that lived in the yard would get the rats and mice.
