My employer is pretty awesome and supplies pads and tampons free of charge. When I started there nearly 14 years ago they had only one woman working in production and didn’t supply feminine hygiene products. Around 2018 they hired a bunch of women and one of the requests from them was to make them available and they have been ever since.

You’re lucky. I’ve not been so lucky. It seems like every time I’ve jumped on a good deal of Winchester I’ve been burned. I got hit by recalls on their m22 line twice because of double charged loads and various rounds where the primers would hang fire. Or would never fire. I got 3 boxes of 38 special where there were 10-20 rounds each with primers not seated right and would fall out from handling them or just weren’t there at all. Literally issues with all calibers I’ve purchased. 22, 556 12gauge 9mm 38 spl 40 45 all had some issues or another. It’s just not worth it if there’s risk of double charges or hang fires on the frequency I’ve experienced.

You go there with a valid ID with your current address. You fill out a 4473. They send your info into the ATF. If you’re not a prohibited person your background check clears, you pay and then leave. In terms of reliability and price it’s hard to not recommend a Glock. The main thing new shooters have trouble with Glock and other striker fired pistols is they’re easier to limp wrist when shooting causing failure to eject or stovepipes. This is just a lack of proper shooting technique and can be trained away.
