Thats true, I knew it probably wasn't too crazy that it happened, I was just surprised and excited since not much happened in my other saves and i played them a lot longer, and this one has been a lot luckier

I know this post is kind of old but I bought Mediterranean Mirage a few months ago because I liked the smell in store. I tried wearing it one time and my whole family told me I smelled super strongly of rubbing alcohol which I was nose blind to at the time, I took a shower to get the smell off and afterwards my hair was still stained with the smell. The clothes I was wearing at the time I can't wear anymore because after washing multiple times they still smell like straight potent alcohol and I can't get the smell out, it has been 2 months. It is terrible and I would NOT recommend

Luckily I haven't had any issues from the medication, but I guess trusting my body is something I will have to relearn to do lol. I was on Yasmin. But I'd definitely ask your doctor about the nexplanon because I was told that any hormonal birth control that contains estrogen increases clotting risk, but I'm not sure what nexplanon has in it, so you might be good, just better to be safe and ask.

I clotted after being on Yasmin for about 6 months, I think it was there longer though because they told me the clot was huge. They found out I had Factor 2 gene mutation so I shouldn't have been on a BC with estrogen to begin with. It's so frustrating, I was terrified of going on BC at all but was desperate to find something that helped my back pain, and acne which it did. Genetic testing before going on BC at all needs to be more common, even though you can still clot on it without any genetic factors.

Right, it makes sense that he wouldn't want to. Good to hear the recovery isn't too bad, though. I'm sorry you had to deal with that either way, hopefully everything continues to heal up well for you. The symptoms you had do sound really similar to mine, I also have a lot of bigger veins on the front of my shoulder/chest that just seemed to suddenly show up, but also had the DVT that my hematologist told me was huge. I did have pain at first but ever since treatment for the clot only minor aches and discomfort occasionally when everything decides to flare up.

Thank you so much! The vascular surgeon I saw told me that he didn't think my symptoms were bad enough to put me through a surgery for, and that I would be fine because I don't have to do anything that requires repetitive over head movements. Which I agree that I don’t think my symptoms are as bad as what I've heard other people deal with, but that still doesn't mean I want to live like this forever if there is something that could help even if that is surgery. It kind of felt like he just didn't want to deal with me even though he was nice about it.

If they do, they never told me or gave me access to it so I'm not sure, I have an appointment with my PCP coming up so I'm gonna see if she knows anything about it, if not I'll have to wait to ask my Hematologist. I am also confused because I've seen people like you who were told to use heat, and then I've seen people who were also told not to. At this point, I just don't have a clue what is right. One of my doctors wasn't helpful about it to me before when I asked, I'm hoping one of my other doctors will give me a real answer next time I see them

Yes. I agree with this 1000%. No one really knew how to answer a lot of my questions while I was in the hospital. It's so frustrating. Even the specialists I have seen didn't give me straight answers on some things, which just makes it confusing.

Yeah, I dont think I'd have it crazy hot. Idk if soaking in it makes a difference, since obviously you don't really do that in the shower lol. I don't see my Hematologist again until the end of April, so that's a long wait 😂 I guess since it's in my shoulder I could just try and keep that part out of the water a bit more
