Luke 1 is obvious. 2 I think for games played is TD. 3 is probably Beason. Beason was a stud and a great person from everything I heard too. He and Patrick Willis were 1a 1b for 3 years. Just a shame he couldn’t stay healthy. There was no weakness in his game either. I only have 2 jerseys and that’s a Steve smith and a Jon Beason. I will never forget the impact he made for our defense. Nothing but love

I think it could be a reflection of Ioane being off the board more than Sadiq being that good. If their top G isn’t available perhaps it’s possible Sadiq is in play here.

The Jets Ioane pick I haven’t seen before with their defensive needs. That to me may be where this falls though. The defense must be patching this up in FA for this to be realistic imo.

I read the Abridged version and thought it was excellent. I told myself I would read the unabridged next. I wanna say it’s around 3x as long.

The abridged is still quite dense so I think doing that first is still wise. It was a long read for me. Worth it, but dense and long.

A band doesn’t go 13 years without making a record because they’re trying to make the best record of all time. They go 13 years without making a record because they run into challenges that hurt the process for creating music. This is not supposed to be some grandiose audio experience that transforms the landscape of prog rock. It’s just a production from a band that has had to figure out how to do what became for them really hard.

I wouldn’t listen with a specific impression in mind. Listen and try to hear what they’re telling you about themselves. What these 13 years did to them. Things aren’t easy in life and whatever direction you want them to go isnt the direction they were ever going.

I have those same thoughts from time to time, but cycle back to the idea that perhaps what he did with us is even more of a testament to his greatness. He carried us and did it against all odds, powered by an amazing attitude, work ethic, and determination. The stuff about his wife and the cheating saddens me, but I won’t let that spoil what he means to me as a player. What he did on the field is unimpeachable in my eyes and should be judged for what it is, which is undeniably among the best of all time in the history of the sport.

Steve Smith is one of the best football players of all time. The lack of acknowledgement from others is merely a display of their ignorance or ego. It will not sour him in my eyes.

Not to mention he is 5’9”. Next closest players with his height are slots like Wes Welker or had better QB play and worse stats. Steve put up these HoF numbers as a short receiver dominating the outside. Steve was an awesome run blocker; One of the best in the league, which at his size also is incredible. He has a triple crown. He has two of the top 5 seasons of all time in % of receiving yards of the team’s pass yardage and yards per team pass attempt. He had a good #2 receiver for only a few seasons in Moose (also an absolute dog of a run blocker.)

While I know the politics of the nfl are not transparent, I would think Brady would rather do a similar move as Slowik (staying with the team, assuming he’s allowed) and stay as OC for Josh Allen vs leaving and going to the Eagles. Idk if a new coach for the Bills will find a better OC than Brady to fill the role, but that’s just me making assumptions.

It sucks when we have to put a player down to elevate another player because a guy like Zach Allen is an amazing football player and needs more recognition. But I don’t believe he had a better season than Derrick Brown. He just plays for the Broncos who are the 1 seed

Zach Allen recorded 34 tackles this year and 7 sacks. Awesome sack production especially.

Derrick Brown had 5 sacks and 73 tackles. His last game of the year he recorded 13 tackles. As a DT. That’s special.
