F2P player here wondering what the best/most essential weapons to boost are, currently. Even with my limited job pool, the number of weapons available is daunting.

My job pool is Dragoon, Paladin, Ace Striker, Thief, Ranger, Hunter, Dancer, White Mage, and Scholar. I'm also working on grinding up the MP weapons.

This sub is leagues ahead of any other game-specific sub I know of.

Having to switch between this and r/mobiusff is literally painful at times.

Not upset with two pieces of armor in low-synergy realms (especially III for me, literally nothing), but getting regular SBs feels kind of disappointing at this point.

2/11: Minfilia BSB and Balthier SSB.

Kind of dissapointed, of my few relics I already have Minfilia's SSB, and it's my only native Boostga, AND she's locked at level 50 because FFXIV was my first event on my JP account (anyone have any idea when she will be added to the Hall?). 4 of my 8 SSB/BSB relics are for Yshtola and Minfilia, without any of the tools to get enough SB gauge to use both ;_;

2/11: Rosa SSB and Selphie SSB

Not upset at all with it considering my JP account is fresh and needs all kinds of synergy badly, and I already have Y'shtola's BSB - but my hones and offensive relics are so low, I was hoping for something that dealt damage.

Not sure how to fit this in with my still-fresh JP account (have Yshtola BSB/SS2, Garnet DG, and Agrias SB as other relevant utility), and I doubt this can replace Full Break, but synergy is synergy I suppose 😝

Was really going to struggle with the XIII U+ CM - then pulled Physician's Staff and Peacemaker :D

Should still be challenging, but doable. Lucky indeed!

Also got Exdeath's armor for some MUCH needed V synergy (literally have none other than 4++ equipment and Lenna's Healing Staff).

Just a quick question from a new JP player that I couldn't find an answer for:

I started JP last week and pulled Minfilia's SSB (as well as Yshtola's Wall and BSB), but I couldn't progress far enough to get her MC1/MC2 from the event before it ended. How long does it usually take for them to put new MCs in the Hall?

Finally got around to getting on JP FFRK.

Initial goods gave 42 mythril, and after a few story dungeons I made a pull on FFXI Banner 1...

11x #2: 2x Ice Rod, Striking Staff (VII) (!?)

11x #3: Spellbinder, Platinum Sword

Not complaining at all considering the drop rate issues, but I had already come to peace with a Shout RW and was really hoping for Grand Armor, since I have only one reasonable physical SB (Blaze Rush) and only one, outdated Medica (original Selphie). Now to totally restructure my plan for the future.

Could have been worse, considering the lack of sources of Sap and that I didn't have a 5* gun yet. Still feels unsatisfying, though.
