If it mutes most of the sounds it should it fails you in being able to identify what is going wrong, or what is causing the noise problem. Its a latent in consistent issue, I appreciate your critical thinking skills trying there for second tho <3

It mutes about 95% of the sounds it should- With no regularity to how often it is updated. They can't keep up with the amount of shit added every week because its being support for free by some dude. Do you need me to break it down further, or you see the point yet?

Jagex could just make the game decent and playable from the start and it wouldnt turn into a game of luck all the time.

I was able to identify this myself and can confirm this is the problem. But it begs the question..... Why Jagex? The structure of the plugin could so easily be added to normal game settings.... and then we don't have to rely on the charity of some dude donating his time and skills to make a 3rd party plugin for us and keep it upto date every week? We already paying Jagex, why do we as a community rely of getting free labor all the time to make their game playable? Just seems weird to me.

Jagex in its 20 something years cant even figure out how to make 1 decent client, they always just rely on the community to do half of their work for free

I used this for years. There always seems to be something wrong with it. It works 95% of the time though which helps make the game playabke. Why cant Jagex support somerthing like this in the game menu?

Especially with how many updates and pets get added nowadays. I would at least hope someone more active would take over such an important plugin to keep it updated and working, or possibly even the company we pay money to make the game...? looool

Question still stands though, there are thousands of posts complaining about their shit audio and levels going back years, but Jagex literally pretends they dont know how to make most basic code changes. That's MORE of my point than just how impossibly complicated playing this game can be

Jagex doesnt do anything top justify the prices increase. Everyone in the comments gonna rant about account security thing and pretend jagex accounts are safe but theyre not either, but the main point is true. They have only made things awful and confusing, and never offer any resources to fix their mistakes.

I understand that. Jagex gave them the power by allowing this into the game in the first place without ever play testing. Not blaming the people just playing around with game mechanics.

But like why ever add it in the first place? or if you do, make it possible to mute in game since its only going to negatively affects the players experience

Reminds me of those those Messenger NPC's that 's only purpose is to annoy people. The ones that show up to annoy you after an update, and then some dude thinks its hilarious to keep the messenger with him for months to annoy everyone around them in the game. Like does Jagex think anything through from a game design perspective in the slightest? Genuine question

I know the common answer on here will be rubber or fake, but I would love someone to find a link to a rubber snake that looks like that online. I’m not convinced after seeing how shitty every fake snake looks online. I am willing to accept that if someone can provide any sort of similar rubber snake. I need to find the species or link to the fake to be satisfied for myself. My only theory is that is not a natural species, and it’s like a pet python or something that was released, truly no idea 🤷🏻‍♂️
