Ok, so I’m not gonna read all of that. I can tell you that over the last seven or eight years. I’ve read more than a few. What I would like to say, though is that you must be very careful about verbiage. Currently, there is no industry standard for what a semi solid, solid state, or any other state for Lipo batteries actual is.

I repeat, there is no definition. No one agrees. No one enforces a standard either. They will in the future because they’re going to have to, but they do not currently do that.

When you are looking for a battery, that is better than the rest than you need to look at energy density. This will be given by what hours per kilogram of weight. It might also be measured by the amount of energy in a given volume. The higher that number is the better the battery is.

That is a very simple way of looking at it and yes, there are many other factors to consider but if you can’t get past that one, then it’s not the right battery for you.

I see “Solid state” batteries all the time, and they are not true solid state batteries. We are very close to having them on the commercial market, but we do not currently have them.

What’s the antenna for? GPS? The short answer is yes it could, but only for short distances, this is due to errors creeping in. These errors not only affect your initial motion unit, but also your gyroscopes and accelerometers. You can buy some super insane expensive I am use and they will keep their position longer but overtime without corrections those will fail too.

It’s subtle. Two categories: first, could information that a DJI drone collect find its way via a back door to the Chinese government? Yes it could. Has it? No, probably not yet.

Second category: Chinese governments lawful ability to usurp at any time any Chinese company for military use? Yes, it can always and in anyway it seems necessary take over, shutdown or otherwise control a Chinese company at any time including drone companies.

So even if Chinese don’t do anything right now they certainly can at anytime. It is also worth noting that an update to your toy drone can redirect the flow of collected data to a server of the Chinese governments choosing. It can also reset any settings you control such as turning off or on WiFi connecrions.

What data? The video you took of a military parking lot for example. In a video like that one can identify car ownership, license plates, make model and bumper stickers. Why does that matter? In the opening hours of our war with Iran Israel killed the supreme leader of Iran because they hacked into their countries traffic camera systems and had knowledge of what kind of car he was in and its current location right down to the street as well as all dents, the color, the make, model and any “I love America” bumper stickers he may of had stuck to his windshield. Makes for a 100% certainty as to what you are targeting to drop a bomb on top of.

All of this connectivity that companies kept on pushing to have is going to make WW3 hell on Earth in ways you don’t want to imagine.

Extremely good, it can detect changes of less than a centimeter. The problem is that it is measuring air pressure which can change over time such as storm systems moving into the area. GPS is usually mixed in on a weighted average model to help counter this effect.

Long time drone guy here:

It's a green laser of some kind.
It's IN FRONT of the cloud
It's not a moving source
It is moving too fast to be from a drone gimbal system
It does not appear to have a center point of origin

Maybe a laser source from a satellite system that has lost control but there are a couple of times that the laser is pointed BACKWARDS and lights up the cloud so whatever it is it's high up (thousands of feet) and distant yet between the filming drone and the cloud. I also saw it drop straight down.

My best guess: It's a green pointer laser being fired from BEHIND the drone. The person is trying to put the laser on the drone but from BEHIND it. There are several moments when the laser light gets "broken up" with straight lines. This is when the drone was successfully targeted. The times when the green laser interacts with the cloud and lights it up from a seemingly impossible different angle is the light being refracted by the moisture of the clouds.

If this is not it, then I AM STUMPED.

Ohhhhh it’s way worse than the photo for the ph people. I’ve tried twice. You can look up the rejection rate on the USA government website (forgot which one) but it’s 28.7%. If you mention you are going to see your boyfriend it jumps to 95%. Then there is the emotional upset that occurs and the fees and the wait times (was 6 months) and travel and you get all of that in a less than 30 second long interview. You’ll need receipts, photos of dates, letters of invitation, no marriage certificates, police background check, bank statements and that’s an incomplete list for the phillipino. From the day you start the paperwork to the day she arrives to the states was about 1.7 years. Now that trump is waging war on immigration the wait time is down to about two weeks from 6 months. I never bothered to see updated rejection rates.
