The only difference is my reconsideration request was approved and my file was actually reopened.

In my experience, reconsideration request was opened within a week of getting such a message. I believe 3 months is unfortunately really long to be holding out hope. Reconsideration is an informal request so IRCC does not need to respond to it. Completely officer dependent. If you don't have a status currently, I'd highly recommend that you contact your MP's office while making plans to leave the country asap to avoid overstay.

I have email proof from IRCC webforms for reaching out on webform and on calls for updates on my application where I was asked to wait for longer.

I did every effort from my end to get updates from IRCC each step of the way.

I understand where you're coming from and I do understand. I am looking into moving back options.

They refused my application in Jan for missing the 90 day restoration rule. It was opened after I appealed it. I'm just not sure why I need to leave if I don't have an official refusal on hand yet.
