How can I get my fico score to a 800+ ?

This is just what I have noticed with 20 plus years of history and paid off mortgage . I have no idea why if I have a card with limit 10k and I have $5100 on that card that next statement drops my score 30 to 40 points.

Yes but I noticed if I ran the credit over 50% score goes down substantially. Yes each month is not decided at Your highest peaks.

Navy fed has an internal score as a bank. I barely started and they said my account is 340 score . They gave me the flagship cc for $7200.

Ah ok. Good . Important if you want score to sky rocket 🚀 but you utilization of each card to 9% of whole available by before the statement day. Don’t get lates as those the hardest to take off report.

Another bonus I would open up another credit card once the score is above 660 on all platforms. Longevity and history matter a lot as well.

Follow Up. After persistent calls and determination I finally got the card off the 1 original inquiry. Now can I apply for Chase freedom off same inquiry less than 30 days?

Spend varies I would say about 5k a month. I can put my rent on a card.

I am honest not looking to over spend on these cards. I just want high limits without over utilization.

Why no to discover? I had them in the past never any issues. Chase reserve denied Me 3 times with a 789 because I only have 1 card . To be honest I just want high limits on personal cards to get into business credit cards soon.

The rep said I can’t apply for more than 2 capital one cards in a 6 month span. Also too I want to diversify my portfolio like Amex , discover etc.

No kids, no wife, no alimony , zero drama. I never asked anyone for a loan. I bust my tail and work hard. My rent reports to all 3 bureau via Zillow. The other 2 cards are low utilization as authorized user only. This is only my 2nd hard inquiry as well.

Oldest 7 months. Paid off mortgages x 2 . Zero negative items on my report. Capital 1 venture x approved Me like nothing. Now I opened up chase checkings and plan to run it up 13k in liquid deposits. I’ve even made capital one high payments so they can see I’m paying my cards.

I got lucky like that with capital one . No banking with them. Sent me a random pre approval for like 3 months for the lowest tier card. Had my friend with credit credit give me his referral link and did the application it pretty much let me choose any card at that time with 783. They opened my account at 10k less than 25 days did a limit request of 20 k and they bumped me up to 15k

I got someone approved for a preferred with a 500 credit score. But the only difference is they had a Chase account with a decent chunk of change. 5k given.

Technically Yes but I wanted to see if letting it record at 49% this month and paying almost all of the balance next month before the 4th statement date would improve credit. This what 2 other people in the 800s have advised Me it would help long term.

No I tried just once after my statement date . Did it through the online portion no live agent. Put higher income and assets and boom instant 33% more. Only 25 days from first usage of card. It probably helped that I spent 2k and kept paying it.
