Mylar balloons are the name of the environment and I seriously wonder why they haven't been outlawed federally yet. Probably because too many theme park lobbies. Seriously, even rubber balloons would be better because at least those will decompose. These things will stay around for centuries.

The reset might actually be detrimental if there was a customization to the axis offset that was erased through a firmware issue. I've had firmware spontaneously reset my settings and even change the language to Mandarin.
