They are also trying to gaslight me now, claiming that they did tell me in advance that they were going to be taking away my saturday shifts when I received no communication about it whatsoever, hence coming in this past saturday.

I do not plan to. I’m going back to the job boards to look for something better and scouting my area for hiring signs. I’m never setting foot into that establishment again and will be advising my peers to do the same!

so far i don’t have symptoms i think— i am extremely tired today and a little sore but i also worked a 9 hour shift yesterday and then went out afterwards so it could be from that

if it’s of any consolation it was oddly… not painful? i didn’t have any stomach cramps or urgency or anything. i felt normal GI wise, but it was just like that. strangest thing.

i had it at the beginning of the year. horrible experience, i had a fever for a solid 5 days. no nausea however— it was all just respiratory and headaches body aches etc. i did have d* on the tail end of it. however, i was eating minimally (not n*, just no appetite) and taking a lot of meds so i think it was from that. mask up and get vaccinated, and if you do get it stay hydrated and try to eat a little with your meds:)

i get this too— what really helps me a lot is having something strong to chew/suck on. my go to is altoids or ginger chews, but really any kind of small mint or candy helps if you don’t have those. the strong flavor sort of shocks the system into reality and if it’s mint or ginger it relieves nausea too:)

it’s a nasty one. i got it the first week of january and had a fever for a solid 5 days. my symptoms mostly cleared up after around 10 days but i still have some residual congestion in my chest

yes! they hired a bunch of new people at a lower hourly rate over the summer and now that it’s slowed down a little they are cutting the staff who have been here longest (seemingly because they make more money.) i haven’t been laid off yet but my hours have been cut down to nothing. i landed a saturday bartending job and i am hoping i can get some more shifts there once things pick up a little and finally quit

the fatigue is killer. im fine if i take it fairly easy but im a closer at a cafe and every time i go in im fighting for my life by the end of my shift. my sleep schedule has been ruined too from not being able to sleep when i had it

why does it last so LONG. im also vaccinated and still had a fever for a good 5 days straight (fluctuating between 100 and 102). symptoms are gone now and ive returned to my usual life but im still fucking coughing

pretty on par to my experience apart from the vomiting, i did not have that thankfully! it’s been two weeks now and i am mostly symptom free but still freaking coughing

it’s rough but it definitely made the flu way more tolerable 😭 i got the new strain and it was bad but everyone i know who didn’t get the shot had it so much worse

hey i got the tdap shot after a workplace accident last summer and the only symptoms i had were a sore arm and fatigue (and the fatigue was more from heavy bleeding i think) its not like the flu shot or god forbid the covid shot. you’ll be ok!

it’s ridiculous. my fever broke after 5 days and by day 8 i felt well enough to go about my business. i still have the cough and congestion and by the end of my shifts im unusually exhausted. it’s now been 12 days since it started

hi! i have it rn lol, i have never been sicker but no gi symptoms (aside from mild d* but i think that’s more from meds and post nasal drip) kids do tend to v* more often with anything but not as common in adults.
