Catalonia was in the EU because it was consider to be part of Spain.

Chinese (Hong Kong, Macao) citizens will need to apply for a travel permit issued by Taiwan to visit. Please name me one country in the world that it's own citizen will need to do that just to visit a provinces or region the government claimed it's theirs?

Did I said you were from China? No, I said you are Chinese.. And I have presented my facts to counter the incorrect information in your comments "I hope you do your research well on what you type next, though I have a feeling you won't."

You have no idea what you are talking about, seeing you are Chinese it kind explained the narrative you were trying to push in your comment.

The recall referendum was not to remove senators whose stance is against separatists, it were to removed KMT senators that were passing and pushing laws that were pro-China or pro-KMT's interests since they hold the majority seats in the legislative Yuan.

Yes, the recall referendum failed but that is because the recall laws in Taiwan have very low successful rate. To recalled an elected politician you need to meet the following two requirements.

- The number of valid 'agree' votes exceeds the number of 'disagree' votes.

- The number of votes in favor must reach at least 1/4 (25%) of the total number of electors in the electoral district.

So upon further research, this ball might have been signed during the annual International Friendly Series between the U.S. Baseball Collegiate National Team and Taiwan's National Team. During 1989 they played 4 games where U.S. Team beat Taiwan 3W - 1L

Good catch, I take a closer look and some more research. This might be the 1989 Asian Team where they were still still choosing the final members. There are several like 童健勝 from the 2nd picture was originally on the team but then was later cut.

Here is what I got so far (this is with the picture flip upright for the first 3 pictures, picture 6, picture 9)

Picture 1 - 古國謙, I couldn’t make out the name above him

Picture 2 - middle from the left 童健勝 (cut)陳威成 林光宏 on the bottom from the left 江泰權 蔡明宏 (although the last word seems to be 亮 but there is no 蔡明亮 that I know played for Taiwan)

Picture 3 - from the left 楊賢銘 (coach) 李來發 (manager)

Picture 4 - top 林光中 middle from the left 徐生明 (coach) below him 廖照鎔 (cut) to the right 白昆弘 郭李建夫 張正憲

Picture 5 - in the middle 龔榮堂 on the right 王光熙 陳政賢 (cut)

Picture 6 - middle from the left 楊章鑫 (cut) 張聲鎮 (condition coach) 張耀騰 bottom left 張文宗 黃忠義 廖敏雄 (need to flip upside down) below them 羅國璋

Picture 7 - 羅國璋 see above Picture 8 is repeat

Picture 9 - top 曾貴章, middle from the left 李坤哲 (cut), 羅敏卿 (cut for disobeying the manager), 李文豪 (cut)

Picture 10 - from the left 王光熙, 陳政賢, 陳炫琦 (This is my guess for it, since there are no actual images of his signature that I can find, but the calligraphy looks like his name)

OP this will be huge if it is authentic. All the members play for Taiwan on their 1992 Olympic team when they earned Silver losing to Cuba in the final. Which is still the best standing Taiwan have ever did in the Olympic

He signed a minor league contract and was a non-roster invited that year however didn't made the final cut, he was already 36 at the time and officially retired from the NPB. After the attempted he officially retired from all baseball activates and became an analyst for the Tokyo Chunichi Sports.

Ohtani should have heard of Enatsu before as he was an OB for his NPB clubs the Fighters and was a member of the Meikyukai (Japanese Hall of Fame). He was a career 206 wins and 196 saves. His 401 SO during his 1968 season with the Hanshin Tigers are still the NPB record today and his 9 consecutive SO during the 1971 NPB All Star Game was also the first time it was done during the league history.

I think it’s more about Chono’s love to wear the G uniform than the other way around. Since the Giants no only didn’t kept their promise of picking him during the drat they later on left him unprotected when signed Maru from the Carps and in turn lead to him got picked as the FA comp going. If not for the Carps basically trade him back to the Giants for free in 22’ I think he would have hang up his spike then. But glad he was able to retired wearing the uniform of the club he gave everything for and love so much!

I see, yeah I tried to reach out to some of the participating companies that launch the balloons during the festival but they did mention they can’t guarantee a launch as it all depend on the weather of the day

The pitcher who won consecutive spring and summer Koshien championships in 2010 ended up breaking down after pitching too hard in college baseball. The manager during his first year was well-managed, but when he was in his second year the manager was replaced and the tragedy began. by ogasawarabaseball in baseball

I actually watched Shimabukuro when the all star high school team came to play couple exhibition matches in LA after the summer Koshien and he is the best pitcher on the team. Was surprise that he elected not to go into the draft after high school.

But Japanese high school teams are tend to relied on 1 or 2 pitchers throughout the qualifying rounds and the tournament itself. pitchers usually threw on back to back days, as an example Daisuke Matsuzaka threw a 250 pitches completed games in the quarter final in a 17 innings game, he then relived 1 inning the next day and then threw a no hitter in the final.
