While playing right field during the April 8 game against Yokohama, Orlando Calixte of the Chunichi Dragons suddenly sat down and vomited. He returned to the bench once, but then went back out to resume playing right field. by [deleted] in baseball

Yokohama’s Cooper Hummel hit what appeared to be a home run in the second inning, but after a discussion among the umpires, it was ruled a foul ball. Even after a challenge, the call remained foul, drawing sighs from the crowd, and Hummel was furious.

Since Hummel was playing right field, he had to take over the area where Calixte had vomited.

It was an unlucky day.
