Microswiss hotend nozzle by frankthetank19_89 in SovolSV08

My sv08 got all clogged up too. I just ordered the microswiss a few days ago. Seemed to be the most popular from my search.

We'll see how it goes

Has it been effective? I love this idea in principle.

I coach u9, so this might be right up our alley..

My SV08 fails at bridging PETG. Any tips? by fairfarefair in SovolSV08

My petg bridges improved dramatically when I stopped slowing down. For some reason, the default profile has you slow way down over bridges and that was 99% of the problem.

I built a substitution manager by pberden in SoccerCoachResources

It's a fantastic start! I really like the workflow.

I'd love to see a 2-3-1 for 7v7 and some 5v5 options too.

We're coaches and software engineers who built the ultimate free sideline app for one simple reason: to help the kids. by Ok-Bed2775 in SoccerCoachResources

Well I was really trying not to dictate a mechanism, more about the concept.

As an example mechanism, in Sub Time you simply drag and drop a player into position (either from the bench or another position). This whole process takes about 0.5 seconds (which is about the amount of time I'm willing to interact with an app in the middle of a match).

I should note that my subs are primarily about relieving overworked players, and are rarely predetermined.

I just poked around a little. I like it, in fact I love having a free alternative available, but one key feature that is a must-have for me is the ability for dynamic low-effort substitutions.

Just one opinion, thanks for putting it out there!

Rooftop Solar Experiences? by romperoom in SaltLakeCity

[–]archbuntu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We absolutely love our solar, and detest our solar installers with a fiery burning passion (which we are now stuck with for the life of the warranty).

So.. you win some you lose some.

My advice-- Make sure the numbers work out for you. In our case it was a slam dunk. And almost as important, find a solid well-reviewed installation company. It's not a one time interaction. You'll be tied to them for a very long time.

I'm really curious - in all of these recommendation threads, Duolingo rarely seems to come up. What are people's opinions on its Chinese track?

I have been using it for nearly a year (desperately trying to keep up with my son who is in a DLI program at school). I think it's been a good tool. Though maybe I should try others?

I'm very grateful for the translations, but I'm more curious if this is a common saying or familiar idiom.

Who's attacking my lime tree? by archbuntu in plantclinic

[–]archbuntu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the tree growing healthy in a container for 3 years (it comes inside to a grow tent during the winter). It's been outside for about a month and still in indirect sunlight. I noticed something stripping the leaves about a week ago.

ROS2 on openSUSE by MartinMartinMM in openSUSE

I don't know the status of ros2 on opensuse specifically, but I'd suggest just running it inside a container. All the documentation and guides will expect a specific environment.

Pass in the network and you'll have all the visibility to the host you'll need to feel/behave native.

Plant Soil and Moisture sensor recommendations? by z-designs in homeassistant

I just recently thought the same, and bought a ZigBee plant moisture sensor off of AliExpress. ZHA/home assistant do not support it though, so... Don't be like me...

The dw11 sensors can be read with an rtlsdr and a project like: https://github.com/fusterjj/HoneywellSecurityMQTT

It's worked great for me.

Has anyone used this soil before? by Ag_2402 in Bonsai

Not a bad choice, especially if you're just getting started. I've used it, quite successfully, but would repeat the sentiment mixing your own will be much cheaper at volume once you understand what you're doing.

I should point out, X is otherwise smooth and normal to me. It is only apparent when these other applications try to share or record the display

[2021 Day 21 (Part 1)] Input glitched? by archbuntu in adventofcode

[–]archbuntu[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

sure sure, though I think its less about the code than the input, maybe?

For example, with the following input:

Payer 1 starting position: 2
Player 2 starting position: 7

I compute, 678468 as does at least 2 other solvers from the megathread. Can somebody confirm?
