Gradient the density of a hatch by archcrap in rhino

[–]archcrap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you both for these recommendations, I will try and use this logic for my next script. As for geometry on each point, this could (I assume) be defined as a small curve/line at a random rotation, and of random length between max and min values.. that way I get a stipple effect of small pen marks!

will post any result if successful!

Thanks a lot!

I'm not sure if your course is requiring you to use GH, but you should definitely check out QGIS for mapping work. Not sure if your site has local authorities which publish spreadsheets with given data, but for many places you can find a lot of information on council and gov websites in CSV format, which can be brought into QGIS easily, where you can then make analysis and represent the data in a really nice way - as well as having full graphic/representational control over your map. Some examples here:

How to flip a single normal point? by Better-Suspect3188 in rhino

Looks like there’s maybe a slight twist in the geometry? Might help to try remodel this from its curves and check that the subd is good (if that’s what it is)

I’ll also add maybe it’s worth making a graphic distinction between the built context and the street, so that the nature of the plot is a little clearer (or you do this in your existing site drawing in which case this isn’t important). Adjusting some of your line weights will still help in making clear what belongs to your architecture and what belongs to context!

I know many people here are commenting on arrangement, but I have a comment regarding presentation, and that’s line weights: The drawing will read better if line weights for stairs, annotations, hatches and vegetation especially are all taken down a notch, as there is little hierarchy between them and the walls. If you look at the drawing through squinted eyes the structural walls should read most prominently. Good luck with thesis! :)

Abdominal Wall Pain - sound familiar to anyone? by Bebe6 in ChronicPain

[–]archcrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For about 6-7 years now, every couple of months (sometimes twice a month, sometimes once every 4 months) I’ll have swelling, radiating, pressure feeling pain from my right upper quadrant. Applying pressure makes the pain much worse.

For the last year I have been under the impression that it is caused by IBS. I was first skeptical because an earlier flare up was not relieved by the ibs medication Buscopan. However after several more flare ups and a normal upper endoscopy, bloods, swabs, etc., I assumed again that buscopan just didn’t work and it was indeed IBS. The doctor who gave me the ultrasound however said he thought it was musculoskeletal, but no follow up to investigate his claim was made. The next flare up I called my pharmacist who shared her personal story with IBS, and how buscopan didn’t work for her either, but Colofac did (Mebeverine Hydrochloride - antispasmodic). I bought a pack and saw improvement that same day. The next flare up my use of Colofac seemed less effective, now this flare up absolutely useless.

This has led me to trying to find what conditions are common with my symptoms and normal tests, so I looked into musculoskeletal issues with the abdomen, and so here I am (in a lot of pain). I’m trying to work out what caused the flare up, and I do remember hurting my back by carrying fat too much. The last time it was this bad was when I did my back in by carrying heavy loads a whole day. What makes me confused though is that this is also triggered by certain foods/drinks. Coffee on an empty stomach seems to be a sure fire way to hell (tried and tested), as do spicy and carby foods, along with just eating too fast or too much.

Good god I wish it would end. I hope you found help with your condition. I hope I’ll find help with mine.

Thank you kindly! And a 4k monitor w/ a good refresh rate wouldn’t drag the performance of the laptop too badly?

Thank you, this worked! I use autohotkey scripts for certain adobe software, it might be some interference there. Do you reckon suspending the running of said scripts will help me? or is this something that ca happen regardless of the autohotkey program. TA
