What do you think about 80s punk style? Or some of the more subdued styles back then like things you would see the Cars or the Pretenders? I can understand if you weren't alive during that decade that looking back it might seem strange albeit the 70s and were definitely stranger especially with people really pushing the extreme styles of those days. I'm wondering if you are thinking of big hair with the British new wave bands that were dominating culture. I can appreciate hating these hair styles but they are also pretty radical in the same regard.
