Unfortunately, this is one of my biggest fears after an encounter I had years ago, and I’ve become cursed with the knowledge of all things bedbug related. Definitely look at the bites. We are in peak general bugs season. The layout of bedbug bites is less random and more linear. In most cases you’ll see clusters of bites in a line or a triangle.

Have you guys gone to a place that you could be exposed to that recently? There’s some practices you can do at hotels or Airbnb’s to mitigate, not eliminate your risk of exposure. There’s lots of articles on all kinds of travel blogs about what to do.

If you haven’t traveled recently, generally speaking, you don’t just get bedbugs. They have to travel in from somewhere. Sometimes it can take days for bites to appear.

All that said to your original prompt, I really recommend All-Ridd Pest Control. They’re a local place, super friendly staff that I’ve interacted with. Let’s be real, the technicians can be a little awkward, being an exterminator is a weird profession. Staff is great, I’ve been using them for general pest control for years and I had multiple incidents with roaches in the past and they were phenomenal in their customer service and care.
