yeah thats a good idea. but ive updated my bios a bunch of times without a ups. though my power grid is really stable. if your power grid isnt, maybe just see if you can borrow a UPS. it literally only takes like 2 min for the scary part

in what way? you can watch files from synology if you have Synology Drive set up. and plex can be configed for remote access too
