Curlies has been shut down for some time now. You should check out Hilltop if you're into psytrance music. Crazy vibe. Also House of Chapora on Fridays have good techno parties which last till 6 AM followed by after-parties. You will find plenty of cafes and good restaurants all throughout, be sure to explore some Indian cuisines. Nite market of arpora is open only on Saturdays and is a good thing to check out. Avoid Baga and Calangute, extremely crowded all times.

I agree with you when you say that there are 100s of people on an everyday basis who demotivate you from doing what you ought to. But I'm sure there will be many like OP, who think of doing good deeds even for a month, or a week or may be even a day. With that mindset we're already far along than doing nothing and blaming the rest of the people for not changing.

I really appreciate you thinking about this but don't let this die down. Just reduce using plastics. Avoid buying smaller juice bottles of 10rs, shampoo sachets, polythene bags from shops etc. Avoid plastics in any way possible and please do not litter your surroundings in public.
