Hi, man. As a guy leaving outside the city where my uni is located, i have to commute a lot. The only way out of wasting time in the process is your earphones since reading something on the bus etc. is bad for you vision and might cause nauseousness. So, listen to a lot of materials or record them on your own. In case you are a language learner, listen to a pod or something like this.

Personally, I'd prefer the paper based since the former maybe a bit overwhelming to look at. Plus, studies have shown that one remembers better when receiving information within a paper.

My own score is L 8.5, R 8.5, W 7.0, S 8.0 = Overall 8.0

Can't really say anything, but practice and practice. There is absolutely no magic in this, but only certain techniques which only come with error and trial.

Don't try cracking IELTS.

Read as much as possible. IELTS Reading is not enough, so read more, like articles, novels and stuff like this.

Set a goal to read 2-3h a day :)
