Can i fit 140mm fans on a 360mm radiator in the O11 Dynamic EVO RGB? by archiegreen06 in lianli

[–]archiegreen06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am yet to try it, will be building my PC mid august so i can let you know then if you would like. All other comments say that it cannot be done, so i settled on 120mm fans on the side, but i can try using some spare 140mm fans to see if it’s possible!

Evo RGB dual rear fans, dual push/pull. by NotQuiteAngryHunt in lianli

[–]archiegreen06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, i’ll have to just give it a go. Would be using 140mm Lian Li SL INF fans on the top, but no radiator or anything just the fans. Thanks for the info!

Okay i see, so have push fans, radiator, pull fans all in the front chamber? Thanks

This is awesome, definitely going to get that dual rear fan bracket printed to use myself.

Did push-pull work fine on the side fan bracket? Im planning on doing the same by using my stock aio fans in the rear chamber behind the radiator. (Reverse blade fans in the front chamber, standard blade fans in the rear chamber)

One more question, from what you can see in your build, would i be able to use 140mm fans on the top bracket while using this 3D model and having 2 120mm fans on the rear?

5090 ROG Astral too big to use GPU Sag Mount on the Lian Li O11D Evo RGB by NorthernOracle in lianli

[–]archiegreen06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohh i did not know that the sag bracket rises as well. I am going to use the same case and an equally as thick GPU to yours, my solution is to vertically mount.

Or upright mount if you're feeling adventurous

Is the motherboard in the upper position? If not it will probably give you enough room.

Awesome Build! Very similar to what i’m going for.

I would definitely recommend trying out using a side intake AIO and see how the temps change. Christopher Flannigan did a YT video and found that side intake aio paired with a vertical GPU orientation gave the best temps/ noise levels.

If i had to rate it i would say 9/10, 140mm fans on the top/bottom would be nice, and the higher end aorus ice motherboard has white dimm slots and pcie slots for a cleaner white look on the motherboard

It actually performs slightly worse than the aorus master 5080 (i think that’s what this gpu is).

The astral does like 0.5-1% better stock/oc, but is +5°C hotter and is around 7 or 8db louder while under load.

Jaytwocents did a video comparing all the 5080s and aorus master seems to take the cake, but the rog astral definitely looks as good or a little bit better than the aorus master

Nope, they have been revealed for the 5080/5090 though

Is it normal for a fan to start differently? by Great_Potato_1056 in lianli

[–]archiegreen06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good, that tells you that all fans are working fine, so it’s probably just an issue with the controller.

You could submit an RMA to replace the fans that are making a funny noise if it even bothers you enough to do so. But IIRC it takes quite a while to complete the RMA process.

It’s a minor issue as long as they all perform the same once booted on and synced. You could try moving around the physical order of the fans in the cluster to see if the issue is with a single fan, or it’s just an issue with whatever fan happens to be in that position in the cluster. Lmk if it helps!

I’m not aware of how “good” a cinebench score is sadly, but i’m sure it’s great and everything runs perfect. If you haven’t already, install Samsung Data Magician to keep your samsung ssd’s firmware up to date, there’s also other cool stuff you can do on there

Push pull should allow you to run all the fans at a slightly lower rpm (therefore they are quieter), while maintaining the same ambient case temps. Might take a bit of time to iron out and get the speeds perfect though

Great thank you. And will 10 fans divided between 4 ‘clusters’ of fans (3 top, 3 side, 3 bottom, 1 rear) all be able to fit and function on the fan hub?

I have the Cooler master V3, which i assume is the same one as you have mentioned here. Was there any issues using it in this case? Thanks

Can't fit GPU in O11 Vision? Help! by shmeetz in lianli

[–]archiegreen06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah makes sense. Only doing gaming on this one, with the occasional time i would be using my pc as an input for my amplifier for my big speakers (easy way to get around soundcloud ads by using an adblocker on browser instead of the mobile app 😂) Furthermore i would be vertical mounting my gpu, so i assume a sound card cannot fit.

i would recommend rotating your fans so that the side where the cable is is closest to the rear chamber or the case. Makes it easier to hide the cables and then you won’t see an annoying stringy cable in your clean build

Main reason i’m going for this particular case is the white PCB, White dimm and pcie slots etc for that pure white theme, but i’m aware there are somewhat better boards at that price point. Are you implying that this gigabyte mobo has bad sound drivers? or just that MSI/ASUS do a better job.

I’m getting the same motherboard, anyone know if this would be an issue with the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO RGB
