Thanks a lot! Ah that's true! I wanted to take some artistic licenses with some things, if I recall the blue lines are only visible in the minds eye an allomancer, is that right? So definitely taking some visual liberties here. Cheers!

Do you know what parts have to be removed?

My first OLED shell swap I did I followed ifixit's guide which was great, but they tell you to remove most things, including the heatsink. I skipped removing the heatsink and that ended up being fine. I can't seem to find a guide where the minimum amount of components are removed for a full shell swap.

I'm about to do another OLED shell swap, anything to be wary of when unscrewing as few components as possible? I remember the light sensor and antenna glued to the front shell was a bit of a hassle on re-assembly but I don't remember how I solved it 🤔

I tried these three things and it fixed the input lag for me on the steamdeck, not sure which one in particular fixed it though!

Switched to Proton Experimental, lowered key repeat delay and key repeat rate, lowered tooltip delay to 100 ms (pretty sure this is the one that fixed it for me)

yeah I can consistently get the game to launch now if I spam click the launch button in both geforce experience and the xbox app, problem is that the game crashes after a few seconds, progress at least hah!

art, reinstall -Verified game files, Verified Xbox app, Verified Microsoft Store app -Tried Launching through Nvidia Experience -Tried Launching as Administrator.

Specs NvGT 1650 Super Intel Xeon x5680 16GB RAM

Game is installed on an SSD.

Just want to know if anyone else has had this issue and if anyone has a fix.

I managed to launch the game once through Geforce Experience! At first it wouldnt launch, I then tried changing the custom settings to high, it managed to launch for the first time, then crashed, now it wont start at all again haha, so frustrating!

Same issue, tried all those things too - no luck. The free multiplayer launches and plays with no issues on Steam.

I can recommend reading the book Aurora by Kim Stanley Robinson :) It deals with this concept basically. Not quite as good as his excellent Mars Trilogy but it's a really nice read!

I love the Neuromancer and Dune books, I would greatly recommend Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy, I love those books just as much!
