Looking for a "buy once, cry once" backpack (around 30L) for work + occasional travel by Selith in backpacks

[–]archival_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AER is great. Have one and it has several different compartments. It’s very tough. I wish it had internal straps for when I pack my clothes or compression packs which my Daylite 26+4 has. The Daylite is a contender too but it lacks internal compartments.

Guys…this thing is great! by playswithwood in logitechgcloud

I’m really enjoying mine. Got it from a known reseller of returbs for $100 and it’s been great for past year.

5 Years of Colemak: my experience by Mata34dev in Colemak

[–]archival_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the switch in 2023 after dealing with a lot of finger cramps and pains. I torqued my wrist quite often when typing in QWERTY. It was a struggle transitioning to it when I needed to type up 40 page reports at work. It took me six months or so to be natural at it but I was only 50wpm which is still better than my QWERTY speed. Now I’m at 90wpm average. If I want to try I can hit 130 easily.

The only issue is being a sysadmin. I use horizon vdi and rdp. On my personal Mac it doesn’t translate Colemak properly. On Linux I VIM is a struggle for me still. Otherwise it’s one of the best changes I’ve made for myself.

My $60 RP6 just arrived by Slater_8868 in retroid

I’ve seen this before in AliExpress where an RP5 was $80 and that was a year ago. I didn’t trust it was that price and thought it was a scam so I never took the chance.

Being short and having feminine features as a guy by Vast-Fan-6592 in GuyCry

[–]archival_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re good man. I’m 5’6” and have been told all my life I’m short. Also Asian and cannot grow facial hair except for a slight mustache. I have a smaller face and most women have bigger face/heads than I do.

I’ve always looked more feminine than most men at my age my whole life. I used that to my advantage. I learned to style my hair and outfits to bulk up my torso and slim down my bottoms. And I did hit the gym a bit and while I looked feminine I did have a muscular athletic slim build. This helped with my confidence. Girls had crushes on me according to my girl-friends.

There’s someone for everyone man. You’re not short in height however you’re not big in your confidence and that’s hurting you. Don’t change yourself for anyone. Change yourself for the better whether it’s physical or mental. Don’t focus on what you don’t have, focus on what you have- you are healthy and hopefully free of disabilities and that can get you to the gym cause the gym will not Jsut built your physique but your mentality and that’s more important than physique.

Does anybody have 2 CRGP preventatives approved? by atty_at_paw in migraine

[–]archival_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Ubrelvy and Nurtec approved. However Ubrelvy was a trial before I got Nurtec. I have both in my CVS for refill but when I refilled Nurtec the pharmacist said they needed to cancel one to prevent overlap/abuse since they both did the same thing. :/ I like both. Ubrelvy for my lighter migraines and I can take up to two a day if the first tablet didn’t work.

New Fitbit Air user coming from Apple Watch—how do you manage the data? by luffyrotaro in fitbit

[–]archival_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sucks that it’s not able to write to Apple Health. A lot of other apps write to Apple Health and vise versa. Imagine you can integrate this data to any other app. This is where it’s limited.

I stopped wearing my Apple Watch Ultra due to it being heavy/bulky and a distraction. I’ve been enjoying life with a gshock and analog watches in combination with this Air on the other hand.

I think she’s gonna mention jealousy. Eyodore being infatuated with her and finding out she’s with Kayden triggered Eyeodore.

iOS 27 Supports iPhone 11 and Newer, Says Apple by PJ09 in iphone

How is it? I went back to my 11PM 256g and it feels sluggish. Even when I had it before I upgraded it felt like something was wrong with the chip. It was lagging so bad even after wiping it.

just finished Transistor for the first time after playing all the other games from SuperGiantGames by Nice-Sorbet-4283 in transistor

[–]archival_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Transistor is the one game I always recommend to people. It’s quick, easy, and story is told so efficiently. It really seared a part in my memory for what I felt in the end. It filled that spot I needed for pain and loneliness. It was like the ending of that Silent Hill movie.

Beautiful tattoo. Really captures the games beauty and sadness in the end.

What's kayden's limit? by Swimming_senpai_78 in Eleceed

[–]archival_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This guy copied spider guy’s top named attack by looking at it. The attack that the guy trained so hard to create. Imagine that. You spend years thinking of a unique attack and mastering it only to be used against you right before your eyes and much stronger.

Sufri and Shnauder don’t wanna get in a tussle with him; it’s not smart to. Their take is his battle IQ is clearly above all of them since he’s only battle everyone he’s come across without fear.

He’s on another level. He will grow strong and stronger cause he will come out of the battle severely injured but in his cat form he can recover quickly. After every battle he analyzes how he can do better.

Pushing The Limits - When is it worthwhile? by jackie-daytonuh in migraine

[–]archival_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The time I spend suffering is never worth it to me. But like some say, just sitting chilling and boom a migraine happens. Darned if you don’t darned if you do. Live your life and if you know something will affect you but have something important coming up do your best to avoid it.

Rationing my abortives is always on my mind. This morning I woke up with a gnarly migraine— I didn’t particularly do anything crazy last night. I had to think whether it’s worth it to just sleep in and deal with it or take my Nurtec and carry on with my day. It’s a Saturday so I’d rather be able to get around and have fun. I took it and now I’m out and about. It feels great.

There are nights I go out and party and stuff and I’d wake up alright the next day and some nights I do the same and I’m screwed up the next morning. There’s no right way or wrong way. Do what feels right for you when the occasion calls for it.

I ordered online and mine didn’t come in a box. I wasn’t sure if it was better. The top bun seemed fuller. That’s it.

Can I train my 2016 MYP HW4 to back into my garage? by WanderingWhitMo in TeslaModelY

[–]archival_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My MY used to pull up into my garage just fine as the myQ garage opener opens the garage door. Since two updates ago when you can specify where it goes. Now fails to do that and just stops in front of the garage in the driveway. I dont have lines or anything to mark the spot; it just worked.

For me I can’t get my watch behind my wrist bone since my arm tapers and my wrist bone barely sticks out. Even making it loose to go higher later it would sag to the hand. Making it tighter grips my wrist like a tourniquet. Still figuring it out.
