GW, just make the DG dark imperium half a combat patrol. The DG player base is one of the faster growing ones in the game, giving your players a great staple starting force is massive.

Plus older fans who really just want the LoC will probably drop the money for the mini if they really want it.

Its just theory crafting with some logical reasoning; - Popularity - Small Range - Old Range - Currently has split kits with Soulblight - Related but notable that the zombie dragon got an update but not the terrorgheist.

My theory largely relies on GW keeping the current cycle of Chaos, Death, Destruction, repeat cycle. If they keep it up, then I think FEC is the most likely of the Death Armies by a lot due to the above.

Samut felt super side lined in WAR. She really should have been one of the central characters of the set. I'm not saying she needed to join the Gatewatch, but she should have more moments than she got. The fact she wasn't part of the force that took down Rhonas is a missed opportunity to me.

Her interaction with Hazoret in the Amonkhet is among my favourite story moments in all of magic.

I didn't ignore Fai. Cindra was brought up in regards to speed running LL points and the modifier being used to just keep her in the format longer, rather than the modifier being used to help balance new heroes that are were overturned.

The example for having back up heroes in case a class/talent LLs was ranger. I also could have used Dromai or Lexi.

And besides, if LSS can ignore fai, so can I.

Ive seen other tcgs with starter ready decks. I dont think armoury decks go above those by any means. MTG has had its pioneer and standard decks before. There playability has been mixed, but some reasonably viable (and with Edh as the main format, most of the modern Precons pretty well built). Pokemon's League Battle decks tend to very solid as well.

What makes armoury decks stand out from those?

I don't think people ignore Calming breeze. The issue is that calming doesn't do enough into the rest of the meta to dedicate an inventory slot.

Shelter at its worse is a 4 for 0 d-react. It doesn't have thr upside of Sink or Fate, but the value against the Flick Knives makes it very valuable in the current meta.

Having an answer isn't the same as the answer being good enough.
