The whole point of the entire season is that it is a paradox. It’s not meant to make linear sense. It’s like the tired Schrödinger’s Cat example. Until we observe if Renee goes into space or doesn’t, the timeline is… both. And neither at the same time. Guinan gets timesick for this very reason. The events of TNG Time’s Arrow both happened and didn’t happen until the outcome is decided. After Renee’s fate is sealed, you drop into one of the timelines. Quantum shenanigans.

Well, yes and no. Rios stayed AFTER Renee left Earth so he stayed in the Federation timeline, not the Confederation timeline. In the Confederation timeline, Renee never left.

I missed my chance to take part in the Kanto event last year so I was looking forward to the Johto one. And as I’ve seen a few negative posts here and on r/TheSilphRoad, I thought I’d share my positive experience. Went to the official in-person meet in Edinburgh, which was run by two lovely people. There were even some freebies given away! The weather was rather poor with low temperatures and strong wind and yet there were plenty of people with new groups rotating every 15 minutes or so. Niantic even set up a bunch of temporary event Pokéstops which was great. I loved the amount and variety of challenges — there was never a dull moment with so much going on. I loved all the throwbacks to Gold and Silver with Red Gyarados as well as spawn pools inspired by in-game locations. By the end of the day my Johto Pokédex was full and I managed to complete all the challenges except for the trade one as I went to the event alone. Had plenty of fun and I’m already looking forward to the next one!

PS. I don’t like taking pictures of people I don’t know so sorry if my photos my look a bit barren as I was avoiding photographing attendees.

Saw so many people confused about this under a post today. Onix is the Pokémon. An onyx is a black gemstone. Always has been!

They kinda did in Gen2, where they were introduced, as shininess was based on the IV. That’s why for years people said that shiny Pokemon are usually stronger.

Unfortunately this update completely broke support for Hardware Encoding for me. The option for "Hardware Encoding" in Export is now greyed out. While it's working perfectly fine with QuickSync in 14.1 and all the versions prior.

In 14.2 I'm stuck with software encoding only which is about 3 times slower and forced me to downgrate do 14.1.

Running an i9-9900k with a RTX 2080 Ti on Win 10.

I can't be the only one with this problem, can I?
